Detail that may or may not be as good on the actual release figures. Remember, it's considered common practice in toys to have better versions as display. Nintendo did this when they first announced amiibo, so take it with a grain of salt.

These are clearly larger models, but the prototypes still have a lot of detail. Though the final versions may be slightly less detailed than even those, Bill Trinen actually confirmed these _will_ be their most detailed amiibo yet.

Id say that Breath of the wild is supposed to be more serious and melodramatic than other Zelda games with Hyrule being a forested wildland with ruins of the kingdom, i guess the music tries to convey that feeling of "we've all seen better times"

I think you will just get the green tunic (or "Hero's Clothes") towards the end of the game, and they will provide extra defense against Ganon.
