    Been waiting for this! Nobody has made an in depth video of Bjorn’s legacy. Your videos are so well done. The music, the narration, those new AI pics, & doing videos than other ppl haven’t really done like Jomvikings & House of Munso!

    Great video! Munsö (Muns Island) is a real place near Stockholm where Björn Ironside accoring to legend is buried. There is a mound there called ”Björns Mound” that you can visit. This is where ”House of Munsö” comes from.

    @@historyprofiles How confusing because he's Ragnars son, who's his mother & how are the kids called by a different last name than Ragnars, was there 2 Ragnar's? On The Last Kingdom, there is Ragnar Ragnarsson & then we have Ragnar Lothbrok & Ubba in TLKis mentioned as Ubba Lothbroksson.

    ​​​@@rachelwilson86just remember when you're watching shows like Vikings & the last kingdom they aren't historical, they are entertainment shows with historical background. Eg; in Vikings King Haralds brother was halfdan the black, were in history he was actually Harald's father. I can only assume they did that for entertainment and also because Hvitserk was real name was halfdan, Hvitserk actually mean white shirt 😊.

    Wasn’t enough information about him to cover a portion of him - The sons of Björn Ironside were Eric and Refil. The latter was a warrior-prince and sea-king. King Eric ruled the Swedish Realm after his father, and lived but a short time. Then Eric the son of Refil succeeded to the Kingdom

    Pretty sure sweden was already converted well before iceland ever was. Sweden had xtians kings pushing the new religion, while iceland was just being introduced into xtianty. Iceland was recorded as the last northern country to "accept" the newly found religion, but never truly "converted".
