My grandmother used to watch the real Lawrence Welk, and the look of the sketches is spot on. The bubbles, the conductor's baton, the music. We as a family secretly loathed the Lawrence Welk show, so these sketches made us howl.

She's the third link from me, in a long line of inter-generational abuse. I have an anxiety disorder and PTSD because of my mother. Grandma had dementia while my mother took care of her instead of letting her die in a home. So I think we were allowed to malign her and what she enjoyed on many levels, since she'd spent her life doing the same to her kids. You got any other fucking questions, Miss Morality Police?
