@@aarosundvall soldiers of foreign nations who were forced into the army were made into their own national "SS" separate from the SS back in Germany. Pretty much only the name was shared, I figure for morale reasons. I guess soldiers who are forced to fight for a foreign invading power fight better when they have their own divisions that are on the "top" of the hierarchy. That's pretty much where any similarities to the Nazi SS ends. No equipment, no supply and the native Nazi SS squads would be in command anyway. Despite this, the Latvian soldiers along with Estonians and Lithuanian brothers fought in the Kurland pocket even after Nazi Germany were defeated.

I can hear "Zem Mūsū Kājām" in the Distance now.

For me the closest to HoI battles was Panzer Corps II. I enjoy producing stuff and sending reinforcements in HoI IV so much more now that I have experienced what is it like not having that stuff on the front line against the allied hordes :D

I played through GTA San Andreas and thought the way they said "fo show" literally meant "for show". Took me years to realise they were actually saying "for sure" but the accent messed it up.

The SS-Polizei Division or later 4. SS-Polizei-Panzergrenadierdivision was one of the first ever formed SS- Divisons together with the SS-Totenkopfdivisionen and the SS-Verfügungstruppe. The special thing about this division was their manpower. Only members of the German Police (Ordnungspolizei) were allowed to serve in this division. This was possible though to Himmlers Position as Director of the German Police.

Hey bo nice vid i am just gonna drop some tips. You can move units in hunt mode (key Q) units will stop and engage (there is also quick hunt for vehicles to use the road when movin) . Try to avoid firing on the move can be seen here nicely how biker squad were havin problems with 2 soviet bois once these bikes stopped they wreck them. And that would be all the major tips anyway thx

If only the Latvians had more saatana and sisu they definitely would have won.

@@maxkennedy8075 it's bit complex. Also, I'm playing the orsha grand campaign, for the first time, as the soviets and I'm gaining lots of losses in battles. I played wargame red dragon, but I take way more losses in Steel Division II.

Long time SD2 player here, get this game if youre a hardcore WW2 fan! This campaign mode takes ages to finish if you plan to manually fight every battle, I mostly auto resolve them if possible. Only thing lacking in the game rn is the number of maps, you'll see the same maps over and over again and it gets tiring after a while. The gameplay itself is amazing though, and multiplayer is a real hoot. You get to pick a division and form a battle group with its units which you take to battle.
