ChoKing's panzer army was like the Clone Wars, the droids rolling through as the Clones defend to the last calling for reinforcements. Also holy shit the Braun v Bo battle was insane.

0:41 The AVT's "Full-auto" ripped the rifle apart so the production was stopped after a year and in the existing ones only "semi-automatic" was approved to be in use

That and an automatic rifle with a 10 round magazine is of questionable value to say the least. Especially as Soviet soldiers were generally only given two magazines with the SVT/AVT and reloading was meant to primarily be through stripper clips.

Rifle was ripped apart if it was incorrectly re-assembled without locking block and fired, main reason of retiring was that svt was both easier to produce and more reliable (and it had 15 round magazine, not 10)

@@Toxic_bnnuy AVS-36 had a 15 round magazine. The AVT-40 used the standard SVT-40 magazine which was 10 rounds.

@@jpc347 oh shite, AVT, my bad I'm blind. Well automatic fire was permitted only if thete was a shortage of machineguns or other automatic weapons so it was just a regular SVT with ability to burst fire (bit less reliable)

Every late/post-war rifle was like that. The M14’s bad reputation comes from the conversion model and the “LMG” variant.

Funny observation: in this match, Romania was on Soviet Union's side, yet the voice lines were still shittalking about Bolsheviks as enemies.

After a quick google- the SVT-40 was supposed to become the main rifle of the soviet army but the german invasion forced them to go back to using Mosin-nagants but the SVT-40s were still widely used in ww2. And after the war soviets accepted better rifles into the army namely the SKS and the Ak-47.

The soviets found out how full power cartilage and automatic fire combined didn't make good rifle. The SVT vibrate a lot too and it wasn't known for ease of maintainance. The ones who seemed to really love the SVTs were the Naval infantries.

the call in arty covers such a huge area that you have to either eat losses or spread your inf out so much they cant even cover each other its really fucking annoying

If you haven't done it it I would like to see a WWI style fight in this. Decks are limited to bolt action infantry, machine gun teams, horse cavalry, biplane, and the most inaccurate artillery you have available that isn't rockets.

I don't think SD2 has horse cavalry, and neither was cavalry used much in WW1 anymore. At least on the Western Front.

I was wondering, is this game very harsh on your Computer. I would really love to play this game but I don't have that great a computer. So I was curious if my pc would be able to handle it or if it would turn into the Netherlands first Atombomb XD

Part of me wants Bo to play Wargame: Red Dragon, but I know it would be a shitshow, since it has a massive learning curve.

The most OP thing about infantry by their nature has to be the fact they use the best equipment for the job like if they’re pure squad focused they’ll use late war LMG’s, SMG’s and gas operated carbines like if the US got the 18-inch M1 Garand’s with improved gas expansion and 1943 BAR’s with armor piercing rounds along with M3A1 Grease Guns.
