that's what I thought too until some time ago. Google body positivity movement. Everything is fine with spreading the message of body acceptance but body positivity comes from another background so I get when people get offended by skinny people (who might promote diet culture) spread another kind of "body positivity" and use that term in a different context.

Just because someone has it “worse” than you doesn’t mean your emotions aren’t valid. The same way you can be depressed when you have a good life, you can dislike things about your body when you have a good body. Showing your flaws is showing people that no body is perfect and everyone has things they don’t like about their body. It is a positive thing, I don’t understand how people could take offence from that!

“Don’t shrink yourself to make other people feel bigger” I’ve never feel a phrase so intensely. My whole life I’ve been doing this without even realising, always saying “sorry” as you’ve said. Now I ask myself, ¿sorry for what?. As always, such a beautiful video Linda, thank you ❤️.

What I learnt this year: - Thinking "hey, I look really good" isn't being arrogant. Love yourself! - Exercise makes me actually feel GOOD! - It's ok to binge eat ice cream or skip exercising sometimes. - Starving yourself will not have good effects (besides, I'm too young to diet) - Live in the moment. When you get older, you'll have to worry about a lot of stuff, so let's just appreciate how slow life is now. - A situation is only horrible if you make it out to be that way. I really got to live during quarantine, and I got to hang out with my family a lot more. I am very grateful for that. In conclusion, I love Linda Sun, and her lessons are always going to stay with me. Happy New Year!

Yes please realize that there is a thing as too young to diet I stopped growing at 16 after I went on extreme diets

What I learnt at 2020: -Not to be ashamed of food when I think I'm over eating. -To be patient with myself if I'm trying to loose weight -If I ever feel hungry not to starve myself -Be happy about every part of myself >:) -Never be afraid of what people will think of me And they're are taught by the one and only Linda Sun :> Thank you so much Linda for teaching me. This has definitely changed my life and I'm glad I stumbled into your channel. HAPPY NEW YEARS ♥️✨😎🥳

I’m currently studying architecture at MIT and I am genuinely interested at the floor plan and architectural features that her beautiful home has. I actually cried with the ending. Throughout the ending of 2020, I lost motivation, hope, and the power to want to work on myself and my goals. I got Covid as the banger for ending 2020 and I learned a lot about being on my own for a long time. Watching your videos has made me realize that if I want something no one is going to give it to me I have to work for it and that’s what I plan to do. I lost motivation and hope but I am growing and learning and I want to make my aspirations come true. So thank you so much Linda and I am very proud of everything you have done and it sure has planted a spark of motivation for myself to go after what I want. Happy new year!!❤️

Rewatching it again I just want to say that thank you so much Linda for saving me when I was at my darkest and for letting me know that I am not alone. My recovery is not linear and I admit I still have some triggers but through your videos, it makes me realizes that what I am doing has not point. You made me realized that I deserve to eat that cake and not feel bad about it; I deserve to eat more than a thousand calories; I deserve to cheese and peanut butter at almost everything. You made me realized that I deserve to be happy. You deserve more than millions of followers. And up to this day, I am still thankful and grateful that you popped up in my recommendations five months ago. Love you, Linda.

Linda, before I found you I was just this insecure girl who'd starve herself and work out till she couldn't breathe. Now I eat right and workout because I want to and that is because of you. it makes me laugh almost when linda doubts herself and her channel. this year, linda sparked a motivation within me that wanted to workout and care more about myself! she got me into good habits and out of bad ones. i love myself and i’m truly happy with myself. i no longer compare myself to other people because she helped me learn that i am me, and other people are not me. i need to work on myself rather than compare myself. i guess what i’m saying is that linda has helped me more than she will ever know. my lack of confidence at the beginning of the year has disappeared and now i am truly happy. linda, you are saving people. you are transforming us into the people we have always wanted to be! thank you so much🤪
