I always liked this card flavor wise. "Last warrior from another planet", he's the last warrior because he destroys all other monsters you control when he comes out, then his effect shows why he's the "last" warrior. His presense is terryfying enough that the monsters your opponents have refuse to fight him, they can only hide. The only monsters who will fight are the ones who are attacked and have no choice or are already out in the field, unable to escape. Flavor wise, he's one of my favorite cards.

It is really great when a card's effect, artwork and name come together to tell a story without the need for flavor text. Another cool example of this is "Planet Pollutant Virus". Vanilla monsters aren't the only cards that have lore or convey a story!

Also with "Light of Intervention" Card, its not hiding anymore, just nothing there, cuz adding something there is imposible. The word "Last" is just very true here.

+Yami Bakura Yeah, it is pretty decent in level 4 beat down but unfortunately for that deck Skill Drain is at 1.

I remember saving the reuired cards and hoping that i met someone who had this fusion card so i could trade with him. This card during its release was the best card i have read about, with its effect during the classic time where only ritual, fusion and tribute someone was allowed, ofcourse there were special summon but the game was more directed towards tribute at the times.

I played around with a deck revolving around this lock, used some of the noble knight equips

i made a few changes n put 2 xing zhen hu fusion gate imperial custom vanitys emptiness n my body as a shield in the deck its a great lockdown deck love using the old cards ty the idea n it works great since all these new decks barely have back row n focus on summoning like 10 monster per turn but still hard to pull off

I can't wait to watch your recent video about that freaky fish guy and his obsession with the ocean and impaling people with harpoons. I also can't wait to tell people I used the previous sentence in correct context.

Anti-spell fragrance works wonders in this deck. It can stop the raigeki as well as put a stop to some other shenanigans like pendulums and mst

Very creative deck you made amazing results don't know about some of you here but lose to kuribo player once will always never underestimate my opponents.

I personally tried to go for a Denko Sekka/Anti-Spell Fragrance/Last Warrior from Another Planet setup. It's harder to do, but really satisfying once you have them all on board.

It can work, just have Denko Sekka be equipped with Dimension Guardian so as to not die by battle and card effects.

A three card full lockdown could be last warrior, dark simorgh, and anti-spell fragrance. Shuts down monsters spells and traps from reaching the field.

+Cameron Henritzy You'd have to somehow have Simorgh survive Last Warrior's effect, or temporarily negate Last Warrior's effect to summon Simorgh. The deck would also need a wind monster for Simorgh's special summon.

+WhiteyMcFly1 yeah just tech in a wind. But I'd use forbidden dress on simorgh. You'd need at least 6 cards to accomplish this, but it's not too crazy hard to pull off.

This would be absolutely OP with a Blue-eyes chaos max dragon. He can't be destroyed by card effects, so he would survive the warrior. And he also inflicts double pierce :D

Well, that's wrong: Chaos MAX can't be targeted, or destroyed, by OPPONENT'S card effects. He can certainly be destroyed by your own.

you can try the trap card: "meteorain".

Goyo XTR? No one else has really done it outside of Goyo Quasar builds.

I have my own Last Warrior Build. I named it Vegata...But, have you thought about adding one of the Ghostrick field spells? Just so you could add your opponent directly. Damage will be halved, but, if you equip Last Warrior with things like Mage Power, you could deal more damage...That is how mine works, and it has worked pretty well.

You should make a level up deck that also runs Cyber Dark Dragon

instead of psyic blade should consider magnium shield. or the strongest shield whichever is the right translation. it equips to warrior and raises its attack by its defence and its defence by it'd attack

Performapal Camelump would be better than Fairy Meteor Crush. When he's in the Pendulum scale he can target your LWfAP and all your opponent's monsters lose 800 Def, and it will also inflict piercing damage.

I don't know if you read comments on old vids like this one, but I came here looking up this card after I got locked out of a duel after Cyber Stein Turn 1 summoned it. This card now doesn't need big cheese to make it work anymore, cus when someone opens with Stein in hand turn 1 they can lock their opponent out with Last Warrior and if they don't have instant non-monster spot removal, you're kinda screwed.

Did you consider Moon Mirror Shield or Final Attack Orders?

If you haven't already, I'd love to see a VWXYZ deck.

So, question: Slifer says its normal summon cannot be negated. Does that mean you could summon it with The Last Warrior on the field, or is there a difference between negation and prevention in yugioh?

The Slifer summon cannot occur with Last Warrior on the field. LW's effect is a continuous effect that activates as soon as he's summoned, placing the restriction. You could, however, negate his effect in order to summon.

a better combo would be Last Warrior with Dark Smaug equipped with Safe Zone and Anti Spell Fragrance. There is no way out

How about a lock down with only monsters and a few traps

i see, anyway i tested a deck wich i called "last WARRIOR destiny masked HERO", following this idea, i played 3 matches on dn and won 2 of them, i lost only to kozmo that topdecked raigeki, obviously it is not consistent, but i considered some interesting things, most of the times dark law is almost as good as last warrior of another planet, also prisma is searchable by shadow mist. another interesting tech i implemented is the destiny hero engine, just to get more draws with destiny draw, and they are also nice targets for mask change, if you are interested i can send you my decklist. also i side deck ccv and ddv, wich are very nice targgets, the 1st one with shadow mist and malicious, the 2nd on with zombyra

that's some rough stuff haha...you'd have to be able to summon last warrior, then you'd have to use forbidden chalice or something on warrior to negate him for a turn, be able to fulfill the summoning conditions for simorgh, then have anti spell to set as well...that's asking quite a bit. if you could pull it off in one turn, it would have to be pretty perfectly set up.

no matter what deck i try monarchs always ruin it XD by tributing ur cards or their search is just stupid :D i think 2 of few ways to beat monarchs is to play burn or probably kozmos

Safe zone wouldn't work, MST or Galaxy Cyclone would pop him and he will be the only monster you can attack with.
