    Definitely consider replacing the EXIT Sign / Emergency Light fixtures with something updated as well and don't forget your Fire Extinguishers. Your shop looks so awesome now!

    Suggestion, release the air pressure from the air system before you leave for the night. The less time the system needs to hold pressure, the more it will last. Highly recommend doing that. Other then that, great job

    Also releases moisture from the system which is the biggest killer of pneumatics.

    But then it has to run a lot longer every day to get back up to pressure. There are ways to keep an air system moisture free. Like automatic drain valves and filter driers. I keep my compressor tank filled at home all the time, but I have an automatic drain valve that purges any moisture out, a couple of times per day.

    There was a moment there when we were cleaning the shop that I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to get it to the level I wanted it to. But, the finished product is exactly what I dreamt of and I’m super pumped!

    That before and after shot towards the end really shows how much of a difference you’ve made to that place. Just imagine what the rent would have been had you not done all the renovations yourself!

    Wow it looks like it's a brand new building at this point. Makes such a huge difference, good job! Might want to figure something out for the echo, maybe some thick black curtains that hang half way down the walls or something. Once you have more stuff in there it might be less an issue too though.

    White canvas would work better, with enough extra length to make a 2ft repeating ripple to provide sound traps along the upper walls. Everything will catch some dust, but Black curtains are going look like dust-covered crap in a year's time, and videos need all that reflective white area to maximize the lighting for cameras down the working height.

    I agree on the sound absorption! It will save your ears and make working more comfortable. You can fab up some basic square panels with cloth and insulation batts and hang them up. Great looking shop!

    I use the air tools as a mechanic there perfect if you treat them right and care for them they last a long time and never run out of battery. But I use battery tools for doing stuff outside the garage and for taking wheels off cars,vans and trucks

    Hi Lewis. Im Lewis. Im a tech too. I have air tools. Some 20 plus yrs old but every thing going to battery. Me too. When they make a DA sander on spray gun with battery then only thing with air will be blowing out stall and putting air in tires

    Shop looks killer! 4:46 they way you put the Teflon tape on the threads(backwards) with the end of it in a loosing direction, it tends to unravel and not seal as good if you were to put the Teflon tape in the other direction. But killer videos keep up the hard work!

    Great work! Awesome when it all starts coming together. I kinda wish the LEDs in my garage where multicolor synched to a sound system. Make the space more fun being able to switch from regular light to club mode.. wake up the neighborhood backing out of the garage. 😎

    Looks amazing! You should fill the cracks in the concrete with some sika self leveling sealant to keep gunk/dirt out. If they’re deep you can fill it some backer rod first.

    You can apply the teflon tape in the same direction as the threads so that it winds tighter as you screw on the fitting!

    It sure looks OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know if painting the doors black would darken the room??? Don't forget an exhaust port for each door!!! Putting them in will let you run a car when the weather is cold or when you just want privacy. Best Always,

    4:47 tephlon tape is directional when you put it on... the way you've done it here will make the tephlon come off as you tighten.

    You can use the Australia excuse. It's illegal to do your own electric, plumbing, etc and definitely voids your insurance if you're not a licensed tradesperson yourself. Lights on the walls will help cut down on the harsh shadows from the ceiling lights. Exciting times! 😎

    Super impressed Caleb. Seeing the transformation is really satisfying and I hope that carries on to the future. I think some metal plating to cover up the cracks in the floor would look good, and you should get shop banners to cover up the ceiling. Maybe you could get some sponsors that way?

    It would be really cool to paint the beams a bright color, like yellow, orange, lime or pink ! Even a light blue could be cool ! It'd make the shop more unique and with a pop of color !

    The transformation is amazing. Please keep the doors white, with black hinges and black frame. That should pop + will reflet more light.

    This shop is epic. I think I would've done full span up-facing lights for the "ambient" lighting instead, though. That and paint the ceiling, but then again, I'm not the one to have done the work, so without that load and stress on me, it's easier said than done.

    Your plumbing tip for the day is to wrap t tape in the direction you tighten the fitting to prevent it from unraveling while you tighten it up.

    Lighting looks 👍 You have CRAZY echo in this space, some ceiling-mounted sound absorbing panels would do wonders

    If shadows become a problem for shooting (can’t tell yet if they will or not) give uplighting a thought. Bouncing light off the ceiling has a way of filling in evenly around obstructions.

    Hey Celeb. Just something I noticed as i'm watching. just to prevent future leaks to the air system. but you threaded your tape on backwards. It needs to go in the direction of the threads. it just tears itself apart if you go opposite.
