I used the stuff for my 3-car garage at home. it's been about 11 years and has held up great with a few exceptions. 1. the area near my garage doors that see a lot of sun during the day has faded to a light shade of grey. 2. Brake fluid is murder on the floor. if brake fluid sits on the floor for more than 15 minutes it will discolor the floor to a lighter shade of gray. 3. even with the flakes it is very slick when it gets wet or oily, so a cleanup and mop after a project is a must. 4. after reading all the direction it said to let the epoxy harder for several day before you could drive on it, so i was not expecting that and had to make other arrangements to park my classic cars some place safe. - on a side note, when i first did my garage, they only offered this kit in grey and light tan. now they have a lot of cool colors and some with metallic swirls in it. and like you i also noticed that after I did the floor, how much worse the walls looked and had to paint as well. I have been looking to add LED lighting to my garage as well. it's going to be cool to see what your setup is like.

Duuuuuuddeee. Really well done on that!!!! It looks amazing!!! Also, potential names: G-shop Gingiland Or if you wants a Mythology one there are a bunch of Hephaestus references: The Myson Garage (one of his workshops was said to be in the Myson cave) The Vulcan Workshop (Vulcan was a volcano he used as a forge)

You should install some sound deadening on the roof and the walls to help reduce the echo effect

this looks so good. I've been working in an old garage for few years now and its a pain in the ass cause the floors and everything else is so dirty and old. been thinking about doing some renovating but never found enough time and energy for it. After watching your videos i just have to do it. thanks for the motivation and keep up the great work!

You should build a small room, or a couple small rooms, one for grinding/cutting(cuts down on dust) and one for building engines(a "clean" room) assuming you have the space.

You paid almost a quarter of what you would have paid. You did a great job. The only difference is the concrete would have been repaired completely. Prep is the most important thing and you went hard. Great job.
