I've also been using Halberd. I think it's pretty good. Especially in HR Ice Abyss.

halberd is not meta, for sure, and longbow is too slow, i dont recommend that build this season.... but , what a chad to try, ggs!

I wonder what would make the halberd more competitive. Obviously a perk that benefits fighter weapons that aren't swords would be nice. Would a different attack pattern help? Or a block like bardiche has? A riposte like longsword? What would give it an ability to space out enemies, or bears even?

its more a fighter problem then halberd problem imo.. I think barb would be fine using halberd. High Hp.. decent mobilty.. skills that lock opponents into melee or do armor pen etc etc. Fighter is just vulnerable with all 2h weps.

Less movespeed reduction with 2handed weapons, as a perk. Would be really nice for fighter's really uninteresting choice of perks

Just got teamed on this morning A bard and rogue just chillin and killed me and then soon after some other poor soul

ive been fantasizing barbarians having halberd for months since multiclassing, but as much as i want it and as much as i love spacing the shit out of people, i think it would be very OP, especially with achilles strike, you can zone out literally anyone and they cannot hit you if you space correctly

@@WilsonsGame Lol. The Druid did well enough to comeback from getting transform blocked. If u stay right on top of rat or even panther once u figure out he’s a bear build u can transform block and cook em. Baiting retreats into spots bears struggle to fit with any pressure from you works wonders

they need to remove druid from the game, and no one will ever change my mind on that.
