Superb reaction. Your gravely vocal inflections are so pleasing to these ears. A natural narrator voice.

@@CJmidnightreactions The spin must continue. I see you on those 45 rpm's (TV shows), then switching to some 33 & 1⁄3 with your movie reactions. If you ever go true oldschool and flip a 78 on us, it has to be something utterly special. ;)
What a day Last Sumarai and wrapping up the inbetweeners

Thanks, Russell. Salute
This is loosly based on true events. Algren is based on the French soldier Jules Brunet and Katsumoto is based on Saigou Takamori who led the Meiji restoration(Meiji was the emporer) and later the Satsuma rebillion(what the film is based on) against the Meiji government. The idea that samurai didnt use firearms is silly. They were using firearms from the 1500's.

I wouldn't be bothered by commentary on great movies as you rewatch them.

They will have to comedy. Any suggestions?

@@CJmidnightreactions To me comedies are the toughest to rewatch because you know them so it's never the same, but some of them you see more stuff with the rewatch. Step Brothers did that for me for a few watches. Non comedy suggestion for first look reaction... The Kingdom (2007) Jamie Foxx, J Garner

Ken Wa-ta-na-bi (e in japanese is pronounced like i in english)
There was a few people of African descent in Japan back then. Most famously Yasuke, who was a retainer for Damyo(warlord of a region) Oda Nobunaga.

Great reaction, thanks for the upload, CJ. For me Ken Watanabe really stole the show. Great actor. I just finished "Shogun", which was very enjoyable as well. If you're into some more movies and shows with a Japanese setting.
