Me too. Seeing the serious wound and blood oozing out from the mother rabbit 's neck tells us that she had been bitten on the neck by a stray dog or another big animal. She managed to run away but as the injury is too serious and it was too late when she was found by the rabbits' butler, she is dying by the time she reached the animal hospital to receive treatment. She passed away from the serious injury and loss of too much blood. May the mother rabbit rest in peace and bless her baby rabbits with health.

Just an FYI for anyone watching please never grab rabbits by the ears! I’m a vet tech and this is one of the most common causes of injury we see to bunnies who come in, their ears are very fragile and will rip!! They may also kick very hard and sever their spines! Scoop them up from their sides 🥺💕

This story is very dear to me because I rescued a rabbit that was abused. They are lovely and intelligent beings.

I hope six siblings of rabbit always have happiness live and mother rabbit don't worry, your bunny with owner of you:(

Poor mommy bun. At least she gave birth to 6 beautiful, healthy babies that will carry on her genes. And they get looked after very well and give happiness back. Mommy bun achieved much in her short life! She can be proud.

I used to raise angora rabbits, for their fur. But if you own rabbits, prepare to have your heart broken. They are very delicate and can die literally from being scared to death. But this momma seems to have encountered something else. As you can see, baby bunnies are just the cutest critters! Rest in peace momma. I hope your babies live well.

You never lied. My heart is still broken from the death of my lionhead bunny, Hairry! I miss him sooo much. He died 1/4/2021 early morning. I hate that his vet wasn't open for emergencies as of 1/3/2021 cause I prayed he could make it to see the vet just to know I did everything to help him. My 1st pet I have ever had and it will be my last... too heart broken that I feel depressed.

He is so heart-warming & nice person👏👏...feeds & cares cute rabbit siblings🐇..mother rabbit💔😢...wish good health & life for them🎍.

They make him happy and they bring joy to our lives ‼️God blesses those who are kind to his creatures 🙏

Poor mommy, may she Rest In Peace. Good healthy life for babies!!

That poor momma bun. OMG, that breaks my heart. I absolutely love rabbits and can't imagine my life without one. At least you were able to gather up the babies and take care of them. God bless you for all you do!

Don’t be too sad. It’s a shame that the mom passed but baby rabbits should be separated from their moms most of the time once they can eat solid food. Mother rabbits have the tendency to attack their young when they get older. And the 6 siblings have a great new dad and grandad to watch out for them!
