This is the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, the last Lamborghini to be powered solely by a V10 engine! Mat’s got his hands on this RWD supercar and he’s about to find out if the swan song for the Huracan is the best yet.
In terms of the design, it’s still clearly a Huracan, but there are a few changes to help you distinguish it compared to the standard Huracan Evo. Up front, there’s a redesigned front bumper coupled with a carbon fibre bonnet. Along the sides, you’ll find some unique alloy wheels. Around the back, there’s a fixed spoiler, a redesigned bumper and a pair of hexagonal tailpipes. All-in-all, this is pretty much the best-looking Huracan to date!
Take a step inside and the changes aren’t so clear. Sure it looks pretty different in this video, but our Huracan Tecnica has been fitted with a number of optional extras, such as the bucket seats, door inlays, air vents and Alcantara steering wheel - sadly, none of these come as standard! The only changes the Tecnica gets over the standard car are a revised digital dial display, a new infotainment system and changes to the seats.
At least there are changes to the engine compared to the standard Evo! The Tecnica comes with a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can produce 640hp and 565Nm of torque - just like the Huracan STO.
In terms of price, the Huracan Tecinica will set you back £212,000. That’s £15,000 more than the Evo, but £46,000 less than the STO! But is it the best Huracan to date? Sit back and join Mat to find out for yourself!

The Huracan has always been Lamorghini's sweet spot, in my opinion. The exhaust note on that one is epic.

Matt is a such a cheerful chap… no doubt one of the reasons is because of his job… must be amazing being able to do what he does!
Let's enjoy it while we can: the high revving, naturally aspirated V8/10/12s are not long for this world...prove me wrong Lamborghini!
To change gear you use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel, eliminating the need for a centre console, controls can be moved to the dashboard. Giving space for a 3rd seat as the car is very wide. Correct me if I am wrong.
Saw one of these yesterday, on the road in white, sounded awesome!
Love the Huracan. It looks and sounds great... and it's fast!

The Normal Huracan EVO LP640-4 also has 640hp, it's the RWD version LP610-2 that has 610hp

Smaller capacity turbo charged will probably be the last iteration of the internal combustible engine. Though hats of to Lamborghini and Co for still making N/A engines. The way they rev and the noise. Forever Epic.

You can use two fingers to change volume swiping up and down and with three fingers you can mute/unmute. Just rtfm.

@@GraveUypo it doesn't have extreme aero, car looks like it was molded out of one single object, while hypercars like Apollo IE look like glued piece by piece and super wide, aggressive. This just blends in as a fit guy and not some steroid bodybuilder

Love the car although I have to say I like a full rear window rather than the flat engine cover. I've always liked that coup look with flowing lines. Rest of the car is pure WOW!!!!

Mat you should talk a little about the steering and handling. Like how weighted it is or how connected you feel to the ground or how you know the front tires are doing. Its just a suggestion to even further extend your vision. Don't have a single word to criticise your spicy personality.

OOOOOHHHHHH my fav car!!!!! I've loved the Hurican since the first edition, it's my ambition car (if my business does well). I love that it is petite compared to other Lambos and is genuinely useable for normal daily driving without being intimidating. I know they get slated in some quarters for being a dressed up Audi but TBH if that means it is more reliable and liveable then I see that as a bonus! Being 50 I’d probably go for the comfort seats and probably the Evo rather than the Tecnica (in a more subdued colour). It’s an expensive car but you can get very low mileage used examples for prices that are almost attainable (and not just for the super-rich). Sad that cars like this will soon be a thing of the past.
