Happy Birthday Mikey. I have the original cartridge versions of Yellow Version, Red Version, and Blue Version all 3 are still functional. I also have Ruby Version, Sapphire Version, Emerald Version, Fire Red, and Leaf Green cartridges still technically functional (dang batteries for the Hoenn games dying and needing replaced). As well as a working Gameboy Advance SP. Additionally, I too was always/still am a Thunderbolt over Thunder fan. I also never use Self-Damaging Moves or other moves that are extremely inaccurate (exception being certain Rock Attacks since very few strong ones have better accuracy then 85%). Also, for next year's meme reviews I would love it if each one was a minimum of 30 minutes long videos.

In Japanese at least most of the characters are named after plants. They used to change that in localization more than they do now, which is why we in the west have noticed an uptick in it lol. That's not to say they always keep it *obvious* in English. Arven's English name is derived from the scientific name for a type of mint, and his Japanese name is Pepper

Its worth noting about the uniforms that in Japan your school uniform is something that you can also wear to formal events and depending on the school would also count as casual clothes since you would represent the school. So it isn't actually that crazy for the players to always be wearing their uniform especially since its a boarding school so it would make sense to always wear your uniform so people know who is responsible for you.

The reason porygon is in legends arceus is because he only appears in space time distortions, which are basically pokemon from the present era being brought into the hisui region, which is also why you can only find magnemite there.

It just needs to be supported by a proper movepool to facilitate tanking. Stuff like recovery moves, protection tools, debuffs like Burn or Sleep moves, maybe some phasing options like Roar, etc. Zamazenta is a bad tank by Ubers standards because its only good defensive merit is its stats.

Sketch and Smeargle haven't appeared in a mainline game since USUM, except for a brief return in BDSP. It's completely understandable to forget about a Pokémon and its signature move after such an extended absence.

I definitely had the same thought in regards to the Arc phone when it was first revealed. Then I started the game and they give the explanation for it right off the bat.

6:50 I get it, it makes sense for Flygon to be Dragon/Bug. But it evolves from a pure ground type and its Pokédex entry says that it brews up sandstorms and hides in them. So it makes perfect sense for Flygon to be Dragon/Bug. Plus, many people say it deserves more love and it needs to be stronger. So why make it weaker with dragon/bug?!

If people really want a Bug and Dragon combo, they should put it on Yanmega instead. Unlike Flygon's it's actually a buff for that one. Any Flygon fan who advocates for Bug/Dragon Flygon is a fake fan; I for one would refuse to accept a Flygon that loses its very valuable Rock and Fire resists for the sake of a unique type combo.

For context, Dachsbun was used a majority of the time in the Hisuian Typhlosion raid because of its ability Well-baked (I forgot the exact name for it). The ability would negate fire-type damage as well as increase its defence, which paired up extremely well with Body Press and Metronome (the item). And it was just Body Press that people would use, so it was one of the funniest cases of being able to solo a 7-star.
