The Last of Us - Vanishing Graces (Childhood Innocence) In-Game Version Extended
Музыка
This edit combines all 3 version of Vanishing Graces, and the intro is edited so it resembling the giraffe scene. Hope you guys like it.
I dont have copyright or whatsoever, I only have the original soundtrack and this song is only a fan made, basically to replicate the same nuance as in the game itself.

I just got to this scene today after having played the game 5 previous times(doing another run through for the tv show). I cried at the beauty of this scene for the first time and just sat there taking it all in. Even having played it before this scene never really made me tear up until now, but it’s such a beautiful scene… Even having now completed the game 6 times, I still cry during a lot of the cutscenes. This game is proof that not all video games are senseless button mashers. This takes you to a zombie infested world where we feel the characters' emotions and sadness. But we also see how the bonding between Joel and Ellie formulate and created a father-daughter thing, and considering how Joel lost his daughter, it was just beautiful...

It also shows how People are also monsters to each other, yet, behind all the darkness, is a fading light, those who still try to help others, hoping they can make a difference in the grand scheme of things, or for the very least, make a difference in a person's life. One of the Vanishing Graces of Childhood Innocences is Optimism, and Kindness, and in a world like this, it's a true sight for sore eyes don't you think?

When I saw Ellie's reaction to the giraffe and petting it, it just reminded me of when I had happiness as a child when I saw and petted a giraffe at the zoo for the first time. The giraffe was the first wild animal I've ever seen in person and touched. It revived the feeling of being young, nostalgic, flashback, relief, no worries/hakuna matata, and happy for a moment.

hearing this play with bill and frank absolutely destroyed me, such a beautiful episode. :(
this game really changed my life. It showed me that everything can go dark but there is always something that can put some light in you life
I have now graduated college, gotten a full time job, earning my way and paying off my student loans, my grandmother has passed away, and I dated someone for two years and then dumped them. I left friendships behind, I got rid of my car... got out of immediate financial debt, and turned my life around. Yet. I still come back to this song. no matter how much time passes, it still holds the emotion that I felt when the last of us came out, and when I first heard this song. Unsure of where life will take me, what my future holds as everyone around me gets older. I will always look back on my life and what’s happened and still listen to this song as if looking out into the unknown. edit: As of October 1st 2020 I moved out of my dad's house and into my own apartment. I am so grateful for this experience to be independent. Also, every time I come back to this song, I feel where I was in time when I was listening to this. It's almost like the song transports me back to 2013... where things were a little bit easier.

I love that they played this for Bill and Frank, because their relationship was very magical in how despite everything, it was peaceful. It was beautiful. They went together into the afterlife at an old age, vanished. Just like with the giraffe, Bill and Frank experienced something they never believed they would, especially Bill, who never came out during the normal time.

I played The Last of Us part 1 after playing part 2, I've already beaten the game but man... How this scene is just so powerful... The peacefullnes in each detail, the relation that was built with every disaster that happened, and just feeling how things turn out to be in the end... I think it was this moment that Joel realizes that it doesn't make sense to live without love. Even when it's a chaotic world. The cure was never 100% sure, and Ellie's love being the only thing that his life was hanging on... Man, it's harsh, the world is cruel, but love still fights in many ways, ways that are not comprehensive to us mortals, not good, not bad, simply existing. I just bursted into tears worst than the first time...
This game is part of my life, i will never forget those cold night moments that i played this game, everything so quiet and calm...
This game holds a special place in my heart...out of all the games I've played, this one holds as #1 in my heart... anyone else?
This moment of the game put a smile on my face. It was a moment of peace in an apocalyptic world which is a reminder that there is a glimmer of light through the gloom. Where there is sorrow, there is peace.

*SPOILERS FOR TLOU EPISODE 3** Bill and Frank’s episode of the HBO show was so surprisingly beautiful. I wasn’t expecting this piece to appear during Bill and Frank’s final scene together, but it kinda fits the same thematic purpose as it does in the game. The purpose that the music served in the game was to complement how what we’re seeing is a purely beautiful moment that is likely the most happy/content point in the character’s stories. That’s what the music did for Bill and Frank too, they got to lay themselves to rest while cuddling each other after having lived a love-filled, happy life together. Man, I’m so happy my favorite game series is getting an equally amazing television adaptation.

Honestly, I replay The Last of us so many times just for this scene and then spend around an hour of gameplay with Joel and Ellie just admiring the view with this theme playing as I slowly rotate the camera as to look at the view while also looking at Joel and Ellie. Some scenes cannot be expressed in words (less is more) and knowing the events yet to unfold, brings a certain sense of beauty but also tragedy; especially witnessing the events of Part 2. In my own experience playing Part 2, this theme kept playing in my mind when playing as Ellie, knowing what she had to go through... I'm trying to keep it vague for anyone who hasn't played Part2. Although, in my opinion; the first game, in terms of narrative is the superior game
This brings me back to simpler times
I cant feel in part 2 what i LIVED with this one...i know that everyone is a survivor in this world and any action should be justified...but ...c'mon man..u just cant place a new character and expect me to forget the ones i loved in first place...joel and ellie will always have a special place in my heart...
