The last of the Mohicans (Main Title) - Trevor Jones - Guitar instrumental by Dave Monk

The Last of the Mohicans is the soundtrack album of the film of the same name.
Director Michael Mann initially asked Trevor Jones to provide an electronic score for the film, but late in the game, it was decided an orchestral score would be more appropriate for this historic epic. Jones hurried to re-fashion the score for orchestra in the limited time left, while the constant re-cutting of the film meant music cues sometimes had to be rewritten several times to keep up with the new timings.
Finally, with the release date looming, composer Randy Edelman was called-in to score some minor scenes which Jones did not have time to do. Jones and Edelman received co-credit on the film .
In my opinion this is a beautiful and powerful piece of music. I love it.

Oh the last of the Mohicans. Can't think of the countless times I have listened to this song and each time it comes afresh, anew like never before.

Je ne suis ni musicien ni amateur de musique, mais ce rythme vous fait planer dans vottre monde irreel avec un sentiment d amour et de tristesse avec une petite larme orpheline qui degouline de votre oeil gauche, cest tres sentimental, je me revois adolescent au cine,,,,,,,,,, contempler le film,,,, le dernier des mohicans,,,, c est une vie qui defile et avec ce rythme la joie renait dans un coeur affaiblit par le temps. The music is hauntingly beautiful. It is a deep expression of the soul of the Native American. One can only surmise the pain that these wonderful humans had to endure as a result of the invasion of their sacred land. May the gods give them the strength to overcome their historical trauma with courage and fortitude. Thanks Trevor, for this profound and meaningful rendition of "The last of the Mohicans", that will one day bring out the best in humanity 🙏🙏🙏

what i like in this book and this movie... it shows the pain of normal people, the native yea but the pionner too which are poors and dreamfull and not necessary indian killers....
