The Last of The Mohicans by Alexandro Querevalú
Музыка
A native quena flute version of the theme from the movie "The last of the Mohicans" performed by Alexandro Querevalú composed by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman for the film of the same name, is the signature tune of Alexandro Querevalú. As the heading indicates, this masterpiece not only makes the performer cry but also millions of people all over the world! The sentiments expressed in Alexandro´s interpretation of the music with one of the native American flutes called Quenacho has a uniting effect on the hearts of people of all races, nations, religions, and cultures.

Many thousands of years before Christopher Columbus’ ships landed in the Bahamas, a different group of people discovered America: the nomadic ancestors of modern Native Americans who hiked over a “land bridge” from Asia to what is now Alaska more than 12,000 years ago. In fact, by the time European adventurers arrived in the 15th century A.D., scholars estimate that more than 50 million people were already living in the Americas. Of these, some 10 million lived in the area that would become the United States. As time passed, these migrants and their descendants pushed south and east, adapting as they went. In order to keep track of these diverse groups, anthropologists and geographers have divided them into “culture areas,” or rough groupings of contiguous peoples who shared similar habitats and characteristics. Most scholars break North America-excluding present-day Mexico-into 10 separate culture areas: the Arctic, the Subarctic, the Northeast, the Southeast, the Plains, the Southwest, the Great Basin, California, the Northwest Coast and the Plateau.

Yes Baruch 3:1-13 [1]O Lord almighty, God of Israel, the soule in anguish, the troubled spirit crieth vnto thee. [2]Heare O Lord, and haue mercy: for thou art mercifull, and haue pitty vpon vs, because we haue sinned before thee. [3]For thou endurest for euer, and we perish vtterly. [4]O Lord almighty, thou God of Israel, heare now the prayers of the dead Israelites, and of their children, which haue sinned before thee, and not hearkened vnto the voice of thee their God: for the which cause these plagues cleaue vnto vs. [5]Remember not the iniquities of our forefathers: but thinke vpon thy power and thy name, now at this time. [6]For thou art the Lord our God, and thee, O Lord, will we praise. [7]And for this cause thou hast put thy feare in our hearts, to the intent that we should call vpon thy name, and praise thee in our captiuity: for we haue called to minde all the iniquity of our forefathers that sinned before thee. [8]Behold, we are yet this day in our captiuity, where thou hast scattered vs, for a reproch and a curse, and to be subiect to payments, according to all the iniquities of our fathers which departed from the Lord our God. [9]Heare, Israel, the commandements of life, giue eare to vnderstand wisedome. [10]How happeneth it, Israel, that thou art in thine enemies land, that thou art waxen old in a strange countrey, that thou art defiled with the dead? [11]That thou art counted with them that goe downe into the graue? [12]Thou hast forsaken the fountaine of wisedome. [13]For if thou hadst walked in the way of God, thou shouldest haue dwelled in peace for euer.

I think people are looking for an actual Native's American Indian since he is advertised as such. Native Americans have a specific culture of their own. As do those with Mexican culture. I am 1/2 Native American, but, I do not share their culture they have on the reservations. I want to learn their ways. Their culture someday. This man knew the songs of the Native Americans. He dresses as such. But whether he was raised in Mexico or on a Reservation, he is still A Native American. I am only half, but I am proud of my heritage.
We can feel pain of Natives in their music. They are like strangers in their own land 😢.
I pray this music never disappears. ❤🙏🏼🙌🏼

nobody can beat the power of nature..i can feel the message to my vein because im the indigenous myself but i feel lost in this modern, cruel world where the people in power today indiscriminate the indigenous today, took their land, destroy the forest, opressed them til their identity is wipe out...hoping for people of native around the world are given strength and power to beat all this madness of the world and restore peace

I am also Cherokee, it’s sad that our ancestors had to go down the trail of tears to a reserved land. We should’ve stayed where we were, I wonder everyday what the outcome would be like if the invaders never came.
I'm part Cherokee and love that part of my heritage and this just makes me think of sadness of what the US did to the Native Americans. This is from an era that has passed and no longer exists and the song shoots through your bones and makes that abundantly clear.

Just happened to find this by chance. It made me watch the movie. Watching the movie and listening to this music only drives home the realization of what the European settlers did to the indigenous people of the American continents. The tragedy cannot be undone, nor will any amount of "reparations" compensate for the inhumanity done to them and their lands. I realize my life may not have even existed if this had not happened, but it is unforgivable to have gotten to where we are today at the price they paid. We need to get along with each other even when we have different opinions, or we will have the same fate as "The Last of the Mohicans".
This is beautiful and makes me proud to be Cherokee Indian. God bless the Indian.
