I got to admit, it was not very creative. At least Charles Schultz had his character write a personal letter to everyone at the end of his run. Although, having Garfield pass away in his sleep does bring closure, even if it is not a very good one.

i got a theory, he was actually not dead instead he went to get a other bed so this was the old bed and the 2 first comics were him at ten minutes ago
