extinction is so underrated imo, so much fun playing with friends recently. we all decided to buy it for shits and giggles but it was pretty worth. haven't bought a new cod game in a while and zombies is just stale for me now so extinctions different systems and gameplay was super fun. really hope they bring it back or come up with a different mode like it

Rumor is Extinction 2 is going to replace Zombies for this year's Modern Warfare 2. I hope it happens. Archer was a patriot.... Samantha Cross is evil. I want to see the continuation/conclusion of the story 👍.

@@TexasHollowEarth it seems like the Rebooted MW series is heading towards the Ghosts storyline, so we could get a continuation at some point

Extintion was one of the most, if not the most fun i've ever had in a call of duty. I've been playing since CoD 4 and I haven't enjoyed something as much as Extintion. I wish IW made an Extintion 2 some day :(

Extinction was a good game mode, but zombies and survival were just better. Survival did deserve a better part 2 than MW offered but MW3 is just the goat. And BO3 zombies is just the BEST.

Yeah I enjoy Extinction more than most modes. Really wish they continued it. It was such a nice break from zombies. Now we have no breaks

Damn, i honestly miss extinction. So underrated, and was such a fresh new mode to take a break from zombies that was actually fun. I wish they would have continued both. And had treyarch produce zombies, while infinity ward kept this going. Would’ve been sick

Do you ever do "Relic runs"? We used to have 1 person activate as many as possible whilst the other 3 teammates try and cover/carry them through the mission. If you end up surviving while not going down once, and completing all of the challenges with all of them on you can net scores around 500k and up. Not that it matters now but it was really fun to push for top 100 in the world. I love this game haha

An underrated aspect of COD Ghosts is the matchmaking system. You can easily find games even in 2023 even if you live outside USA and Europe.

Such a great game, such a noob playing lol. NoahJ: I forgot everything after three weeks Me: I haven't played for a little over a year but I know everything, like to search everything right away, open all doors but rhino alley before doing generators, put a gosh dang shield on your back.

Him not using the shield pissed me off so much, he never used his hypno knife, who uses incendiary ammo?! And so many challenges he failed for not reason

If I remember correctly, ghosts is the only cal of duty you can play on all gen, and all systems together. (PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox360, Xbox One, Series X, Wii U, and PC all crossplay)

Extinction was an excellent concept. But the downside is that the mode isn’t solo/noob friendly. The wide variety of aliens made it more difficult than anything, and you feel like you’re constantly getting overwhelmed by aliens. Medic and Engineer were the must-use classes of the mode. I think they can improve the mechanics of the game.
