I think this shows that treyarch really, really wanted to give cold War zombies a year 2 but Activision forced vanguard on them Now that vanguard is end of life treyarch INSTANTLY went back to cold War, but by now its too late for large content updates due to them having to work on COD 2024

I’d love a sequel to Cold War but I’m not sure how much can be squeezed between the timeline. Bo1, BOCW, Bo2, maybe a sequel to bo2 with new characters right after menendez’ fate, but I’m not sure

@@nono5609 from leaks it’s gonna be the 1990’s, at least it seems; which does throw a few questions into the air - like would the story shift to focus on to say, Adler/Park/Simms given they’re canonically still alive at the end of Cold War (and to be honest, they’re some of the better new characters introduced in recent years), or perhaps a prequel for David Mason? Though perhaps they flat out end up retconning BO2 to keep Woods, Mason and Hudson. It’d be a little bit of a damper but then again, I think I’d be over it a bit by then to have them continue.

The Halloween update for Cold War was so good and OP. I love it’s come back. The music was pretty good too with the round changes

Dude I wish they would keep the event as a optional mode in zombies it would be so fun

Stamin-Up increases your backpedal speed with one of its tier upgrades, so that's why you moved faster while moving backwards

I love this mode it's the best mode in the game I wish they kept it permanent

It’s possible to save up the crates that drop every 5 rounds. If you do spawn room till round 10 and you go to the speed cola room you will have two crates altogether. One up in the plane area and one down below. For my knowledge, I think it spawns in the same places every game….

This mode is so good. You’re just literally op haha. It makes getting to the legion boss fight and beating him a lot easier and I’d highly recommend anyone who hasn’t got to round 100 for the dark ops challenge to do it now, you can’t miss

I love updates like that can’t wait to see the Halloween packs

I’m so glad they brought this Halloween event back to zombies again.

I'm so happy this is back I'm almost finished with the zombies calling card weapon grind and with only AR's left this is gonna speed me ahead

I loved this last year. And now! The feature presentation!

I survived to round 61 in the first room of forsaken thanks to the pumpkin head drops, it's so fun seeing how far you can go

This and the presents at Christmas made me love cw zombies even more.

When this event was live last year, I spent so much time playing zombies. I played forsaken non stop and just sat on the top of the one truck where the zombie could only climb up from the back of the truck. I got so many jack planters drops. It was so OP

Cold War wasn’t perfect, but treyarch gave it so much love and attention that it made it one the most fun zombies modes to play in a while and this Halloween update is amazing!

I just found out I owned this game recently and I recently got into zombies on bo3 a little while and the word about this one was usually iffy from players but now that I’ve played it i love it now and I am actively trying to beat the EE’s thanks for the sick content getting me excited to play this so much

I honestly want to see him do the starting area in all the maps without leaving. me and my friend did it on forsaken and it turned to chaos

Would definitely love to see you do all the CW EEs in general but especially with this mode!!

I was actually playing CW zombies again for a bit just after I finished my dissertation for my MA a week or so ago after the MWII beta ended. Yeah, it’s got it’s issues, but Damn, zombies in this game can just be dumb fun. Then 3arc got forced onto vanguard and we got what we got…

You can use the 3 wrenches at one spot on the tank. You don't have to walk around it.

This LTM made the Easter eggs much easier cause for the longest time I couldn’t kill Valentina or the legion til now

I absolutely love the "speed" run, I'd love to run some community games in zombies if you do that, 🍻

I still haven't completed the Tempest EE on Outbreak, always panic in the silo area before the boss fight. Would love to have another go at it with the Halloween features

The way I did the tempest boss fight was by watching how ||steve|| did it. He did the boss fight by having aether shroud and the hauer 77. When the tempest got his orbs out he then activated aether shroud, ran right beneath the orbs and shot the hell out of one of the orbs with the hauer 77. Before I did this I used other methods to try and kill the tempest but I kept failing until I did Steve’s method

@@AiRsTrIkExXzZ It's not the boss fight I'm worries about, it's the Silo area before the boss fight. when all the Mimics spawn on that one step for grabbing the keys you need. It's a very cramped area

@@MrGamecubeVT ahhh. That is pretty scary sometimes. When I did it I sprinted around the room and activated all mimics whilst also training them. Then kill them in any way possible(being ring of fire plus your strongest weapon or aether shroud and just shooting them). This is how I did it but I also recommend watching speedrunners do it and people who aren’t speedrunning(I usually do what the speed runner does if I’m a bit stuck on it)

He parked a truck right outside the elevator...then destroyed it, so the zombies couldnt even get to us while we were shooting the legion but we could still mantle out and go back in as needed

Damn I forgot about the Haunting. I'm definitely playing Cold War today. I never thought about doing the EE during Halloween. Hell yeah, looks like me and the hubby are doing all the EE starting today 😂

Wow...pumpkin heads.

This was one the best of not the best mode put out. This makes zombies just the most overpowering god like fun.

My friends and I played on the forsaken map on this mode and try to get as far as we could in without going through the portal. We made it to round 36 I believe.

I think the higher you go the better chance you have to get a pumpkin head pick up I only know about it in outbreak also in outbreak you can also find those scare packages

Me and somebody use this to beat the Tempest Easter egg, the few extra score streak drops really help. I wish they would make this a permanent optional game mode

One of the best events period

Some of the best games of zombies I ever had was Cold War holloween.

Been playing a lot of mw2 might come back to CW mostly for zombies

Damn haven’t played this game in a while just recently got back into ww2 zombies bouta hop back on this one

Loved that they brought this event back. But taking it away before Halloween has even come and passed, because of MW2 launch is a slap in the face to zombies fans.

Playing Cold War zombies does feel nostalgic i feel like i took how actually good it was for granted because I only grinded for dark aether camo and it sucked the fun out of it

I wish scream deathmatch and nuketown Halloween came back too, but hey I'm happy with a howling we will go.

I remember getting the crbrs on like wave 3 playing this and lost my damn mind haha

Now that cold war is at the end of its life they should give it the borderlands treatment for the zombies mode. Make the live events toggleable for offline and private matches

they need to up the rates with the pumkins even purple rarity the rate is slow
