Manchester United HAVE TO allow Erik to imprint his blueprint over time, several transfer windows and pre-seasons. Very talented. I am a United fan and Mancunian of 40 years, I don't expect anything first season other than a cultural shift, no trophies, no pressure. I know in years time Erik will be a great appointment, we are patient and we are all with you Erik!

Just give him the time he needs. Don’t start booing him if the results aren’t what you expect halfway the season. Bringing united back on top is a long term project. Believe me, Erik ten Hag, knows his stuff. As long as the board doesn’t only buy him lemons, but quality players who are willing to work instead of the instagram diva’s that are walking around on the pitches these days.

To all the Manchester fans, give him the time to built and he will preform miracals . To Erik good Luck in Manchester.

During the years 1994/1996, ajax was absolutely the number 1 squad of the entire world. Nowadays ajax is national the best (must admit:"they played often not so well against smaller teams").Even in europe, they ain't so special anymore,just an average squad, nothing special anymore.

As an united fan we are really blessed to have a boss like this!!😭

I've been a fan of Ajax since 2001.. in 22 years time i have become a fan, i think Ten Hag is probably our best coach in 2 decade, he really bought Ajax back to the European elite level again, we set so many new records with him in Europe and i think it will take sometime again before we have this golden generation of players ( the 2018 team ) and a coach that really understand the Ajax way, You will be missed! thank you for the 4 years of good memories! @@DCHTOWN1 I don't really watch EPL, but i do know what's going on with Man Utd right now, i wouldn't say 100% that Erick will achieve what he did in Ajax with United, EPL is not Eredivisie, EPL is tough, and Ten Hag only coached Bayern 2 outside of Eredivisie And i am sure the squad needs some changes, but i do hope that he will bring you guys success

@@AJ-rc5lr The current United squad needs a whole lot of changes. Majority of the players there are the same ones who down tools when Mourinho and Ole were in charge. There have been changes in the backroom staff and management side but as long as the Glazers are still around, we aren't placing much expectations on Ten Hag.

Seeing the love sent his way from the great Ajax fans has me loving the guy before he's even managed one game for us. I watched the Ajax celebrations last night, I was amazed and jealous, I thank that great club for giving a platform to Erik and I'd be happy if he just stabilises us but I think the man is going to do much much more than that, he might even get a tune out of Donny again and if so I'll be delighted. Thank you Ajax and welcome to United Erik.

I feel very spoilt that we have taken this guy from a club that operates in the most purest way a club should. I really hope he turns us around as the club is crying out for a leader and figurehead like him.

I get the impression Ten Hag has such an affection for Ajax, half of him doesn’t really want to leave. Especially to join a club that in its current situation represents the complete opposite to everything he’s built at Ajax. All the Ajax players seem humble and eager to please him, I fear at United he’ll be shocked to find a very different culture. I hope he clears house. Ajax, great club. What he’s built there with Edwin is fantastic.

Ajax has a memorable list of great coaches and great football minds, with JC, RM and LvG. Erik deserves to be in the top five for sure.

Congratulations Ajax! As a United fan, to go from the tactic-less Ole to this man in less than a year is amazing, I cannot wait. I've seen United win many many trophies in my lifetime - so I can deal with the current bad times because the good times were so so good. But lately, I can barely watch the football. No passion, no energy, no excitement, no risk. Please Erik, all I ask is bring the life back into this club and make the football enjoyable to watch for us once more. Trophies will come again sometime, I don't care about them for now, but firstly, just give us a style of football that I can look forward to watching.
