Mammoth Cave 405.00 Brownsville, Kentucky, United States the longest cave. The Clearwater Cave System is considered to be the interconnected cave system with the largest volume in the world. The Hang Son Doong cave in Vietnam has the largest room.

Great video. What lights do you use for example at 2:43 (or 5:37). It is a big chamber and you have a perfect light for filming.

I'm using a single Zebralight with the full-flood optic. I'm using the MkIV with high CRI LEDs. For most lighting I'm using it on H2 (high, level 2 - about 1,000 lumens). For really big chambers I sometimes boost it to H1 (about 1,600 lumens), but it won't stay on this setting for long. I hold the camera in my right hand and the light in my left to add a little depth to the lighting.

I was there in 2003, mostly exploring Cobweb cave, in G. Benerat, and trying to raise the woeful standards of surveying :-) It's a remarkable place. I recognise Hazel, Elaine and Judith in your team, and messrs Tully and Williams. Caving is a small world :-) Very hard to justify the emissions from such long-distance travel these days when you have caves closer to home.

We were on expedition with a research permit. There are guided trips to Lagangs Cave, Clearwater, Cave of the Winds, Nasib Bagus, and Deer Cave. I think it's fairly easy to visit most of these. Nasib Bagus (Sarawak Chamber) requires good weather.

Those are the Petzl Transport 45L packs. I can't really recommend them. They were disintegrating after just a few weeks of use. The bottom panel of one pack completely failed during one of the camp trips. The seams and lower panels of several other packs were on the verge of failing.

@@HankMeyer Haven't really found a camp pack I'm thrilled with. The GGG Cheve is what I use in Lechuguilla. It's a bit on the large side, but it's a great value. Looking at MTDE. They appear to make a good product and I'm thinking about getting the 60L Sherpa.
