The Largest Castle in Central Europe | 4K | CZ
As I took a trip to Český Krumlov in South Bohemia, Czechia, I invite you to take a walk along this medieval town and its castle. And the town doesn't just look medieval. Most of the houses are build in the 16th and 17th centuries and, preserved till today, they are still inhabited. You can find even a functioning restaurant - and actually have a lunch or dinner - installed in 1592, in the middle of 16th century!
The entire town of Český Krumlov gets its name from the castle, build in 13th century.
The castle of Český Krumlov is one of the largest in central Europe, formed by 40 buildings and palaces, situated around 5 castle courts and a castle park. He preserves its Baroque theatre, built in 17th century. It is the oldest of the four theatres in the world from that time that have preserved its scenery, props and stage machinery.

Malbork Castle is significantly larger than Český Krumlov Castle. Malbork Castle, located in Poland, is the largest castle in the world by land area and one of the largest brick structures in Europe. It was built by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Český Krumlov Castle, located in the Czech Republic, is a large and historically significant castle, but it does not match Malbork Castle in terms of size. It is known for its beautiful Renaissance and Baroque architecture and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but its land area and structure are much smaller compared to Malbork Castle.
