It's definitely a thing and she's my comfort artist too.

If you want more orchestra from mitski, I’d definitely recommend retired from sad, new career in business! It’s her senior college and there’s like a huge student orchestra she worked with. Both lush and it are great albums, but Retired from sad is possibly my favorite album ever.

I think i can just relate so much to The Deal because of my depression lmao. Also the song just feels like a slow chaotic dissent for having a soul you dont want. I love Mitski's philosphical lyrics connected to the universe, where we fit in, and what it means to even have emotions or a soul.

This album was phenomenal. It was so enchantingly beautiful I can’t describe how much I relate to this album the most. Mitski is such an amazing performer/artist 🙁❤️‍🩹. She’s such a genius lyricist I could go on for days talking about how good mitski’s songs are. They’re actual masterpieces. Mitski is the one of the only artists that can actually make me FEEL my feelings by just singing to me she’s so gentle and so loving. I love her so much 😕💗

I’m Your Man made me cry so much when I first heard it, I was so taken aback by how absolutely beautiful it was.

Mitski has one of the most gentle beautiful voices in music. I always feel like a better person after I listen to her albums.

I did a renaissance revisit! other than that I haven't really. I've tried multiple times to go back and listen to a couple songs on laurel hell to see if I could do a revisit and have hated it just as much those times too :( u never know maybe one day lol

Me too!! A new bbc radio thing mitski talked about how she wrote laurel bell in covid and wanted to make it more boppy but still with sad ish lyrics I love laurel hell

I tried to listen to Mitski multiple times before but her music never clicked for me…until this album!! It’s so good!
