I skipped past this movie a couple time's. Something told me that it might be a great movie! You see I'm at an all time low in my life currently. 60 year's old. Disabled and alone in my life. Just barely enough money to pay Bill's and keep my Jeep drivable. We need more movies like this to inspire people to Just Believe! Amen and thank you Lord for having me watch this great movie.

[Wow] ,I don't why I picked this movie! I was it tears just about the whole movie. To me it really hit me hard. I've had several losses in my life and I'm only 61. I've lost a son and daughter slash stepdaughter, two grandbabies because of a car fire, so I know that pain and emptiness is real! I am in a okay place now. I guess I could write a book or a movie that would make any one with a heart cry with what I've been through. Thanks for the movie and thanks to everyone that was in the movie. Love Ray

Deceased loved ones will come to you in your dreams. If you don't want to see them, just say so and they will leave you alone. If you do want to see them, it usually lasts around 10 years or so and them your rarely see them anymore after that. It's not because you haven't moved on but they have. Your pets come to you in shadow and you will continue to see them for longer because they usually have a stronger heart bond to you. I lost a much loved cat in 2007 and he still visits. It can be confusing and disorientating when it happens but accept the visits for what they are and in time you will learn to take great comfort from them. Also, as a parent who has suffered the loss of a child in 1997, this film resonated very strongly with me and served as a timely reminder that although gone, they live on in your heart forever. Thank you for posting.

This movie has moved me to tears, joy, and laughter. Perfectly scripted! It is heartwarming in a world full of violent movies, just nasty stuff. It is so wonderful to sit here and watch it and feel good on the inside. Thanks ever so much for uploading this simple yet heartful movie. Loved every minute had me glued. It spoke to me in ways I can not explain. My two-year-old daughter died in a tragic car accident, and I was blamed for a long time that it was my fault for taking her shopping with me that day. It’s not your fault. Remember that Jesus delayed going to heal Lazarus and he died. He had to die so Jesus could show the glory of God by bringing Lazarus back to life. Losing a child is beyond heartbreaking. It may take a lifetime to see the glory of God from this. Don’t listen to those who have no understanding and would blame you. Blessings ❤

It is rare these days to come across such a beautiful film and story full of all of what is most needed to heal and celebrate the human heart. This was a timeless gift even as it brought forth some leftover tears from my early childhood years going through several foster homes. Truly touched my heart. 💖

One of the best KZread movies I have ever seen in a long long time.. it pulls on your heart strings. It speaks love and hope and a wonderful future. Although He missed his only son even after 2 years and was still grief stricken, he badly needed this change of heart and there was a tiny part in the movie where I believe his son said "Let me go dad" and then, somthing wonderful happened to them all. The ending is awesome! I also enjoyed all the credits when the movie ended; it was done so well! I encourage anyone to watch this movie you will be glad you did. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

It was the commenter to whom you responded that used the word "angel" via their personal interpretations. The movie is about emotional beliefs aka perspective, not "religion" or the paranormal. It's about one's *perspective in Life, how they see things, and from that, what they believe about themselves and their life.

what a great low-budget film it shows you don't need millions to make a great meaningful movie whoever produced this movie my hat goes off to him it should be up with some of the great movies it had a great storyline,feeling. and heart-pulling moments its very close to real life as you can get people to watch this movie and think of them foster children looking for love and a family do what you can to give them a chance in life even if you do something small it better than nothing god bless you all remember our future is in our kids give them a chance even if they're not ours in blood in our heart they are our kids

Excellent movie. This brought me back to a time when I lost my baby yrs ago. I did what he did closed myself off from others. You see my sister and I went to the hospital to visit my daughter but instead of being near her I pulled away. This went on for a week and the nurses started noticing. I knew my daughter was dying, and then something clicked, I wanted to have some memories with being with her. This movie brought back sadness, love, and hope. I cried at the end of movie as I seen hope in the girl's eyes

The title "The Lamp" really didn't spark my interest but when I saw Jason London was in it, I decides to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The wonderful message of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness and self control is amazing. The fruit of the Spirit which guides our lives into true peace and happiness.

This movie kept coming up, so I decided to watch it. Awesome film, thank you for sharing, this is a really amazing movie, loved it. This is just what I needed to raise my spirit. It had me glued from the beginning to the end, couldn’t let it go for a second. In a world obsessed with horror, violence and sex, this is a great film in teaching forgiveness and finding oneself in a tragedy situation. Losing a child is always a hardship, and takes sometimes many years to go forward in life. My aunt was one of them…..after the loss of her baby she wasn’t allowed to mourn her child properly, nor did she have the support she needed from many of her own relatives, she was forced into pregnancy and in having children again too soon. After having another baby soon after the death of her first child, she didn’t recognize it as her baby and kept saying that her baby died and this one wasn’t hers. This devastated many family members, but she should have had more time to except the loss and mourn her baby. But no matter who’s child it is, children also suffer from various mental and abusive situations, either from peers, parental negligence or even uncaring people they meet in their lifetime and who expect more out of them than what they can handle…..my adopted daughter, since childhood, has been dealing with this issue throughout her lifetime and still bears the scars from her ordeal. She was only 5 years old at the time. In spite of all she had to deal with in life, I am proud of her and for what she has been able to accomplish in life and in being able to rise above it. I love her greatly and always try to listen and be there for support. This is what true and real love is all about. ❤️🙏🏼

Painful to watch the first 20 minutes but once hope arrived there was redemption. Thank you for sharing this film.

I remember seeing this many years ago, and could never remember the title. Found it again by accident, and it hasn't aged at all. Took me about 10 mins to remember it, and now I am happy :) This is a movie about grief and how it can destroy relationships, grief has many stages and if a couple lose a child and those stages aren't in sync, they are basically going to break up. This is the saddest thing ever, as their lost child would have NEVER wanted that to happen, so it would have been a loss to their memory too. They should show this movie in schools, but it would be against 'christian' teachings I suppose.

I witnessed a seven-year-old boy get killed on a Snowy Day from a sliding truck which happened in front of his mother and sister. Not long after the incident his mother and father divorced. It was sad for his whole family and his school. Every time I see a truck that looked like that one on that day and every time it snows I think of that day. The family left it up to me to get a tree planted in a park near his school with a Memorial plaque that was close enough for his classmates to visit the tree to remember him.

A lot can happen in eleven years, bullet-time, CGI etc, and before you say those things didn't happen in the last eleven years, I know, I am saying that those things happened maybe days, weeks or months after the previous amazing advances in technology. So, yes, an eleven year old film IS a matter of 'aging'. Everything is a matter of 'aging'.

Tear-jerker for sure! Lost my sister last year, I feel the guilt, joined a grief support group, been a good journey, healing process different for all, some do not understand as they have not been through it, some bottle all emotions etc...beautiful movie!

Sorry for your loss. Been a bit over two years for me and the healing process continues. I was fortunate enough to have some events that unwittingly prepared me for a sudden loss, but the array of emotions is still very much present, everyday. Stay strong and just believe, a large part of her is still very present. In this movie, the true Saint is his wife. The first ten minutes sets a unique tone for insight into grief and support as well as the wife being a perfect role model of the glue that holds a relationship together. If not for her wisdom and strength, their relationship would have dissolved regardless of any other magic that may have come. I also very much enjoyed the message that magic was not needed to heal. Well played, well written, well presented and message very well received.

I totally agree with most comments. This movie will dramatically change the viewers´ previous perspective on heartaches and desperation. There is always, and I mean always hope to heal and continue living a happy and joyful life. We only die once and live everyday.

beautiful movie, I like it because through movies God shows us that we only have to believe in what we love and believe in love, our neighbor and simply believing is the only thing he wants from us. Thank you God for teaching me through this beautiful movie that I just have to believe 🙏🙏🙏

I lost consciousness and regained it two months later with people rushing me to the hospital. I have been disabled ever since (4 years). My wish is for a miracle to happen to be perfectly healthy again and now I know that all I need to do is to just believe! Thank you! 😘🙏🤗🥰😆

Came across the title "THE LAMP" and thought it was one of the boring movie to watch again but was wrong it caught me straight from the HEART - was moved by the characters and inspirational words and lines they used. This is a movie worth watching over over again. It's really speaks to my heart and increase my faith to believe all things are truly possible if I only believe. Great story and even greater message

Just believe,it's wonderful movie...I watched this movie once and feel I could watch 1 million more times?. Nowadays BELIEVE is hard to attain in this world!

I have no trust of any. But this video made me cry. Though it's impossible, yet just believe, it can be done. I have to hope to someone Higher 🙏. Thank you Jesus
