    Ok, so i was talking with my assistant coaches this week as to how we can practice layups in a high intensity setting that practices proper wide lane running. Then this pops up in my recommends

    We did the same drill in HS and had to reach a certain number. The kicker was yo beat the previous number all the time. Lol

    Before these kids start trying to hoist up 30ft 3s ala Steph Curry they should be learning how to make layups. This is an excellent drill for kids learning the game of basketball along with shooting free throws.

    It's to practice being able to bring the ball low to high fast enough to be able to make the lay up. DI players shouldnt need practice just making a layup when given the ball up high
