Here's the thing that many people forget. Su Kyi did indeed try to deflect the blame over the Rohynga massacres, but we have to remember that her civilian government was always under threat by the military which held a lot of power. It was only after the November election that the military realized it would never hold onto absolute power and I do think that Su Kyi would have eventually spoken against what is happening to the Rohingya. Right now what the world has to do is take action and stop this senseless coup and allow democracy to prevail. Stand with the people of Myanmar, action and not words.
