Drew was the starter for the Patriots and Brady was his backup. He got injured really bad in a game and was in the hospital. Brady had to take over for him and the rest is history. Lol.

It honestly goes even deeper. The patriots were a dumpster fire before drew and he was a number 1 pick in the draft n toook them to the Super Bowl in 96. Pretty much the team that was ready to go win it all was the team that was built around drew….then homie almost got killed n tom took his spot 😅

Bledsoe got sacked into the netherworld and Brady came off the bench to replace him... and never left.

Drew actually almost died. He had a ruptured spleen, and if he had stayed on the field like he wanted, he would've died per the doctors.

Nikki does a lot of roasts and is always brutal. There were definitely booing Kim 😂

@@kevinathans4191 Same, she was great live. Totally different from her Roasts though. She had a team of her comic friends help her write this roast. She said she either broke even or lost money doing this roast because she wanted to pay her writers well and it took them months. (every comic has help write their roasts) She came prepared. Roasts are tough to do. Keep in mind, you don't really learn who else is going to be on the roast until fairly last minute and lots of people drop out and need to be replaced.

Nikki is simply legendary...for years, whether it's all the roasts she's been doing, her podcasts and especially the Netflix special are a must-see!

Nikki is brutal with jokes, she is phenomenal. Her regular stand up is even more savage.

Nikki Glaser is s beast, she did the roasts of Alec Baldwin, Rob Lowe and Bruce Willis as well.

Trust me Tom was not bothered. If you hadn't seen the rest of the roast at least watch the end. Tom goes last and he goes in on everyone. This entire show was one of the best roast I've ever seen.

Nicki glazer is sooo funny!!! I’ve seen her live twice and she was sooo amazing!!

So to answer a few of your questions: 1. Drew Bledsoe was the starting QB in 2001, Brady was back up. In the 2nd game of the year he was hit really hard in the chest and had to leave the game. Brady came in and performed well during the time Bledsoe was recovering, good enough that the coach named Brady the starter after Bledsoe was healthy again. It came out later that he had sheared a blood vessel in his chest and his chest cavity had filled with blood. So yes, he almost died. 2. Gisele cheated on Brady with her jiu jitsu instructor. They ended up getting divorced and now she is dating him. 3. The part about leaving his family is in reference to his relationship with Bridget Moynahan, who he dated before Gisele. They had a kid together, and he left before the kid was born, so kind of crappy on his part. But they eventually patched things up as best as they could, and are good coparents. You should definitely react to more of the roast. The only ones that didn't do that well were Randy Moss, Ben Affleck, and Gronk was a little weird in spots. Check out Tony Hinchcliffe. He and Nikki had the best sets of the night.

Just at correction regarding Bridget. Bridget said in an interview that she didn’t know know she was pregnant when they broke up. She told him after she found out but he denied being the father until it was proven so. Apparently after all that they all developed a really good relationship to raise the kids.

To answer your query...Many believe Giselle was gettin busy with her Jujitsu instructor before they separated. That's why Tom took a leave of absence in the preseason and then when they seperated, almost immediately went on vacation with him claiming they were just friends. Don't know, don't care

OK, Patriots fan since 1976 to tell you the Story of Drew "The Guy" Bledsoe. Drafted #1 overall he basically made the Patriots but was starting to be the guy who used to be Drew Bledsoe. In 1995 Bill Belichick (Do you need me tom explain him? No biggie, I'm on twitter.) went to the Jets and figured out how to defend against Bledsoe. In 2000 he came back and with Bledsoe they went 5-11. That's not good. They drafted Brady in round 6 - he was not a threat to start. In 2001, just before 9/11, Drew was running out of bounds in a game vs. the New York Jets. The hit looked normal and at first everyone thought he was fine. He was not fine. He had a sheared aorta and had internal bleeding and almost died. Fortunately at the hospital he was stabilized and operated on. While he recover this nobody named Tom Brady took over. Thi was when no one ever lost their job to injury. Belichick, now Patriots Head Coach, had a choice to make when Drew came back after 4 weeks. With Drew they were 0-2. Brady had gone 2-2 and inherited a loss in the game Drew got hurt. Belichick choose Brady. The next year the Patriots traded Bledsoe to the Buffalo Bills. That is an inslt because it is a team in your division that you'll see twice each year. Basically Belichick was saying you are sooooo bad we want to play against you.

Comedy is back and Tony and her did it!!! And on Netflix live and it was most successful roast ever so happy to see that you can’t actually cancel anyone bcuz we will always have the real comedy fans watching and buying tickets to see no boundary comedy

I've said this. Nikki is the funniest female comic. I've been her fan since all the previous roasts and everybody's sleeping on her for some reason.

Before the divorce was announced, when they were separated , Tom took his leave of absence from the Bucs during training camp , looked gaunt and miserable at press conference, and meanwhile it got revealed his wife was living separate in Costa Rica and photographed with her Jiu Jitsu instructor out and about. He was the proverbial personal trainer not to trust your wife with.

you should react to some of the classic roasts.. this was good, but nothing tops Greg Giraldo and Lisa Lampinelli roasting each other.

100% agree... I have NEVER once paid for Cable, Netflix, Video Game, etc. and will never. Nor have I owned even a TV for 12+ years. My kids never had a XBox, etc or video games in the house either and they are way smarter and better off for not having it. My Son speaks 3 languages, my daughter 2 and they are super crazy smart and way way above their grades and scores - top 1% in the District. So stay your course and be proud!

They brutalized Kim at the roast, it was basically an everyone can get it roast. Gazelle fared well compared to Kim, from the clips I saw. Multiple people torched Kim.

And yes, she was literally having multiple ju-jitsu sessions a week for several years while married to Tom, and ironically it was with the same person/instructor that she (and their kids) had been seen/photographed all around the world with since they split……..hmmmmm. “I didn’t cheat! Nothing was happening! He was there for me!” SMH
