I loved that match honestly my favorite Benoit and Angle match and one of my favorite matches of the smackdown 6 era.
Shelton Benjamin is the most underrated wrestler ever! Love you, Kurt!
No matter what happened outside the ring, Angle vs Benoit at the Royal Rumble is still my favorite match of all time, WrestleMania or not. I remember during that time I just started watching wrestling again but in Canada, I only had easy access to RAW which was on TSN so watching this first PPV with my grandpa, I saw Smackdown stuff for the first time and boy I became a fan. For about 1-2 years after, I became only focused on Smackdown. I miss my grandpa and these wrestling nights we had together watching WWF/WWE. Happy times
Actually Fully Loaded 2000 vs The Rock was Benoit's first big 🏆 match on ppv
Great episode and nice to see Kurt happy and healthy! 2003 was my favorite year of his career and Benoit was the ultimate opponent for any wrestler between 2000-2007

I loved the standing ovation Chris Benoit received after the Royal Rumble 2003 loss. I can’t find that anywhere on KZread now.
Maybe when Lesnar retires he’ll do a few guest appearances in these podcasts, many fans would tune into it
Judgment Day 2001. That was the 2 out of 3 falls between Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit for The Gold Medals.
2nd favorite match behind WM 20 main event. I'm surprised no one said anything in the back it would be cool to hear stories about that. I saw somewhere HHH told Kurt this was the greatest match of all time when they walked through the curtain. Who knows #ruthlessaggression
Got to admit Team Angle is a very unique skilled tag team.

I rewatched that match recently, it truly was a technical masterclass
I jus happened to randomly watch this match for the first time while i was at work last night and I’ve seen other matches from those two and they were great but MAN this match was amazing. And to know now that Kurt did this match injured with all the stuff they did, The realism and creativity was off the charts. Taz and Cole were in their prime at this time. It was just great. Please go watch this match!

My fav match of all time. Wished they actually main-evented a mania with a world championship on the line. If Kurt Angle had a showcase mode on a WWE game, it would not be the same without Benoit
As much as I agree with Angle, the match he had with Benoit should have been a 6 star match, however it did not occur in the Tokyo dome, and it didn't involve twinkle toes omega so uncle Dave can't give it a better rating than it got
They did show the replay. It made Brock look like unstoppable. Kurt-“Ow my knee you sonnabitch.” Brock-“my title”
Man crazy to hear that Kurt nearly drowned. Happy he is still with us, may the blessings be upon her, and saving a tough as nails guy like Kurt we definitely have a strong young lady in his daughter.🙏

It probably cracks the top 10 kurt matches but the match with benoit is just different. It's competitive & had more emotion imo. Both classic matches that I love but I think kurt is spot on with this match being his best.

Im sure it could've lasted longer in the arena while they were running promo videos on air ahead of the rumble, but 15 minutes does seem like a stretch

Kurt Angle's daughter is on her way to being an Olympic gold medalist! Oh Its True! Its True!
My favorite Kurt Angle match is his match with Shawn Michaels at WM 21. I think it's his best.
