To be honest Ten is always in my mind too, he is amazing, not only the way he looks here but in general. There are behind scene from this MV, you can check on KZread, it was an actual helevator with some special elements and a lot of CGI used, Baekhyun said in an interview.

100 pretty much has the same vibes with jopping, especially with the structure of the song (taemin bridge, baekhyun high note, mark drop) It took me a few more listens to finally love it. And dang! I liked 100 so much more than I expected to. I thought it would cheesy, and it is, but it *works*. It's fun and fast and a really enjoyable listen. Also, as much as I love all these boys ... YES to Ten as bias! Though Taemin's vocals in this were just amazing, really proud of the work he put in to suit the track.

When i tell you Taemin in the sexy cowboy look wrecked me.

I really like the song in general but it also kinda just sounds like "Jopping" but with less impact and slightly less hype. I didn't realize this was the pre-release tho! It makes me think the comeback will probably be insane. Also maybe they are teasing the comeback with the red eyed intro??? Like with Kang Daniel's scene at the end of Waves being the first scene of Who U Are

Target was a former sponsor of a well-known racing team in the US, so that’s why the jacket was chosen for the song about racing around. But Target definitely had to be the choice because of a sponsorship in album sales.

I really don't get how people can say 100 sounds like Jopping, like sure, they have similar futuristic, hype energy but they don't sound alike to me at all. I like both songs a lot, to the point where I can't decide yet which one I like more. 100 definitely has the advantage since it's a new release but who knows, I'll see after some time passes ^^ as always, thank you for the reaction! Ok, few things, first of all: Ten oozes sex. his posture, posing, the way he looks and uses (abuses) the camera, in every video he's just really REALLY sexy. and I almost agree, Taemin is my favorite but he also has the best voice imo (and those eyes), but I can TOTALLY relate @PD. you are not the only one lol. And compare him to for example Kai at around 2:23 where he squeezes his eyes, like he's nervous and insecure, (and he's not, he proves that throughout the entire video), but Ten and Taemin don't have to try, they have a natural comfort with their sexual expressiveness. And can we PLEASE talk about Lucas.... at 2:40 that cute nose, full lips and expressive eyes, those ears that are slightly too big, yet ever so cute and then that VOICE! Anyway, sorry, can't help it, lol, but PD made me do it!!!!!! And second, the entire video is based on vehicles. the red eyes are backlights, the tunnel and turbine are motor parts, there are roads, sky races, they have all sorts of races going on I understand why you say it's lacking something to be a title track, but I have to be honest, this one works for me WAY much more than Jopping ever did. Also because the best vocalists get to shine more. and imo it's less monotone and has much more of a melody going on. I'll stop rambling now, but thanks for posting this @formoftherapy. I feel like SuperM struck gold with how they intended this song to be received: it's a pre-release, and by SuperM's / SM's standards, it's a damn good pre-release, so much so that it could almost sound like a title track, without you /actually/ admitting that it can be. It sounds confusing, but somehow SM managed to make what is a b-side sound good enough to almost be a title track, but you can accept that, by SM's standards, it's /just/ a b-side, and rightfully so. TL;DR "100" sounds almost good enough to be a title track, but manages to remain in the "b-side" realm, but that's not a bad thing, because it's SM.

I don't know how to feel about the song. In combination with Jopping, I'm feeling like these songs aren't really about anything. BUT I was really digging how Taemin and Baekhyun's vocals sounded together and with the other members. They had a nice intensity that added tension in this song that might not have otherwise had much tension.

I like that they're taking a more Western approach to promoting albums. Highlighting singles before they release a whole album. It draws more attention to the group and you get to see what your paying for.

I think the song received more negativity than it should due to the fandom issues. I don't care which fandom you're from, but these guys have worked equally hard for this project and you either choose to support them or just shut up and stop hating on a group of guys doing their thing. The song was hard to get used to at first, but the more I listened it got better. Also, it's only a PRE release, so I'm quite satisfied with it. Solid b-side track. I'm excited for the full album! By the way, SuperM will release Tiger Inside (which was already performed once in their Beyond Live concert) on 1st September!
