I personally like this more than see sea but it’s gunna be hard to top dally. Dally was my #1 most played song 2018, and it was still in my top 5 last year in 2019, so I hope this song has staying power like dally does!

I think Dally is a bit overrated. It's a good song but people mostly like it because of the dance. She definitely has a lot of better songs than Dally. I prefer See Sea more than Dally

Colorful Autumn but personally I really don’t like the choreo but love the song.

The choreo, she called it fishing.. And you should try to listen to her "Morning Call"... Imo, it is so good til that song kept replaying in my mind... I hope she will do acapella for Morning Call. She wrote and composed this song btw... And thanks for the reaction on Say My Name and 9lives.... This kind of reminds me of Ariana Grande’s ‘side to side’ but I like this song a lot more

I wish Hyolyn success - considering how incredibly difficult it is to break out as a solo artist in KPop. (At the top of my head) I can only list BOA, Rain, JYP, and Psy. I hope she stands alongside these industry giants someday.

The song to me feels like a korean, more summer-y Side by Side and i absolutely love it.

the move that she's doing looks like she's fishing, and there is some sound like when float hits water

the signature move is called the fishing dance, aliya janell worked on this! I love this analysis as a big fan you pointed out things I didnt even think about.

On first listen I didn’t like the song and never listened to again but then a few days later it randomly played on the kpop rising playlist on Spotify and I absolutely loved it

I think the intro music is kinda R&B... There is also mix of Jazz and Reggae music... I am not sure. But, her vocal note runs are really impressive. Especially the bridge part. She is hidden treasure of Korean Creative industry

The "fishing" choreo is stuck in my head like the song! This really made me regret not being able to experience the iconic Sistar Summers...

Besides all the girl kpop groups...Hyolyn, Jessi, and Bibi are my favorite artists.

This must be a sample of Side to Side and I absolutely love it! She changed the vibe of it while it still sounds kind of similar. Like Side to Side is still one of my favorite songs but this is 10x better

5:46 It's reggae inspired but not reggaeton inspired. For reference Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William is a fitting example of reggaeton like song as it has those loud percussions in the background doing like "dudu du dum dudu du dum", you'll know what I'm talking about listening to the song. BTW am I the only one wondering what the hell is Mommy Son doing it the video? I'm talking about the masked guy that is actually a relatively known rapper in Korea.

Mommy Son as Mad Clown loves Hyolyn, she is the reason why he joined StarShip before. So I guess they are friends and she asked him to be there for fun as a Mommy Son

I don’t think you need to do a listening party for the ep. with the exception of one song everything in it you’ve already covered.

I like the song for obvious reasons like the vocal dance and execution. I think she's doing a new sound. A lot of knets don't like her music but claim to recognize her talent. She says in her lyrics "feel it like the music", I think that's her pleading with k viewers to appreciate her music. I feel like this comeback she's been raw and vulnerable with her feelings. I really hope that knets and kmedia will elevate her. And stop putting her down once and for all.

Omg you didn't mention Mommy Son :/ I think he's hilarious and cute at the same time. This rhythm is reggae as you can hear the soft classic electric guitar, bass and snare. Reggaeton is different because the beat is heavier in the sense it has a bass drum throughout the song to acompany the melody. This song is nice, i like her voice and it's added to my playlist 👍🏻

I could be wrong but I SWEAR that set with the short purple dress with a wooden background reminds me of something extremely similar from one of Mariah Carey's m/v a long time ago. I think the dress was purple too. Shake it off maybe? I'm gonna have to go look. But with the same colored hair it gave me a wave of nostalgia

It has more of a reggae/ska feeling with the bass and the guitar. Reggaeton has a very specific bass rhythm that this song doesn’t have. VAV Señorita and Gimme more are the closest to a reggaeton bass rhythm in Kpop.

Love these extremely talented young women being comfortable with their sexuality like Hyolyn, Hwasa, Solar or CL. I would not watch this channel, if I would not like Kpop but I am much more impressed by individual talent and creativity than by over produced videos and songs. I didn‘t really know Hyolyn before but she deserves a 10 out of 10 for talent, skill, creativity and artistic expression. Personally I do prefer this song as a summer song and I like the reggae beats creating a tropical vibe combined with the powerful vocals.

I am not expert neither, but I feel like you wanted to say moombahton? Instead of “mambaton”? Reggaeton is actually more latin and nearly every time it has that one specific beat on repeat more less whole song. Moombahton is EDM genre and I don’t think this could be nice example of that. To give you example of some k-pop moombahton song you might know, it would be Fire Truck by NCT 127. All in all, though I’m not musician or expert, I’m just normal listener of many many genres, I would say it has just summer vibe with reggae inspired drum beat, as you mentioned.
