WANNABE is a song about breaking old image, and wanting to be of new image. WITHOUT YOU is a song about losing yourself, in the pursuit of being someone you like. It's a concept trilogy and we are waiting for the last, final part. ^ ^

In a Biblical context, "calling out the gold" is to actually see people as God has created them to be and encouraging them to be that person and I think that very much links with these concepts, so if you see a lot of gold, this could be another reason why.

Wannabe and without you is connected. Wannabe is for wanting to be the perfect(???) self without you is losing your true self to become the thing you want to become. It's somewhere along those lines and honestly golcha explains it better than me 😂 but that's the gist of it. That's why in one scene with the eye you see a silhouette person thing and it cracks... Thank you for the reaction and I can't choose which one I like better cause I love both

Wannabe and without you is definitely how the woolim sound was introduced by Infinite ,songs with really good use of synths .

Isn’t sounds like Infinite song like “the eye”... (wanna be and without you)..... its rare in kpop nowadays to do this kind of song... Anyway this Wannabe and Without you are part of a trilogy.... we are waiting for the last part of this... but they are busy now on Road to Kingdom....

Fun fact, they were made by the former member of the music producer team who made Infinite's The Eye. They're Woollim's in-house producers. Anyways, I do agree with you.. Infinite's the very first foundation of Woollim so of course lovelyz, golcha and ropun have Infinite's kind of vibe.

Wannabe is catchier. But Without You is something else. Their best song so far (eventhough I love Let Me so much)

The whole of Without You reaction is just PD malfunctioning while mentally scolding themselves, beautiful to watch👏👏😂

Personally, I like Wannabe more--song-wise and mv-wise--but Without You is freaking bOMB. Wannabe just has more of my style and it just hits way differently than i thought it would. But, Without You is also up there! When it comes to dancing, Without You is definitely my style, like that minimal, sort of sensual sound is amazing. It feels so satisfying to hear! Thank you so much for this wonderful video as well! I really love that your girlfriend's also giving out her opinions in your videos sometimes, I really love it. Like with MCND's spring, this is a turning point for me of how i see this group, because I was not so in to it when they first debuted, but Golden Child's WANNABE is beautiful and addicting, and Without You is even more appealing, because they both have thoses suttle but impactiful drops that I really love in songs, like Seventeen's Home for example. Great video PD, priceless reactions. Love from Brazil❤

I was really waiting for Golden Child to break free from that teenbop sounds just because and I was hoping that they would continue doing more mature songs and they did with Without You. I can't really compare because they actually said that it would be a trilogy kind of series so I'm waiting for the third installment. But I think it will take them longer this time due to Road to Kingdom. And I actually have both albums, the reboot and the repackaged. So, I think I like them equally. :)

Aside for both songs being amazing, you will definitely getting goosebumps once you watch their live performances cause Golden Child indeed are strong with their vocals and definitely slay with their synchronization. Basically they are the multitalented boys who can sing live so well while dancing to their powerful dance. They indeed did justice to their own songs so well. golden child, if you didn’t know, in the past had a vv youthful and cute concept! but after having a year of hiatus, they had a sudden twist from their concepts as well as to their songs, which is why wannabe’s album was called “reboot”. i guess woollim wanted to put golden child into a drastic change of their whole image as a group. and now with wannabe and without you out there, they’re trying portray this sense of confusion within their old self to their new one. wannabe creates the passion and willingness of a change and wanting to be a whole new person, while without you portrays their emotion after having to change, and that they feel empty without their old selves.

I'd say tag and Jangjun actually have a different rap tone. They sound somewhat similar in these tracks but Tag has got a pretty high pitch tone where as yeah Jungjun has the nasally sound
