Nah, Butter is, like he said, waaay better stylistically, and that means more mileage to be explored in terms of the visuals that have & may still become (new) videos. Any wonder why the Concept Photos are so many & all exquisite? Plus, I agree, the song itself, in terms of music and, especially the lyrics, are much more superior to Dynamite. I mean... king kong, ding dong, ping pong in Dynamite, pleeease!!! Butter even has the RAP parts (in English!) & the dance breaks, wow. And when it comes to the LIVE shows... don't get me started😊 We've seen how Dynamite has been treated excellently by BTS in live performances, now we're gearing up for Butter... much better times ahead, I'm sure. It's already happened, and we're in heaven watching them😍💜💛

Hobi said in a recent interview to Amazon music that he was surprised that so many people were shocked seeing him eating that slice of butter 😂😂 It seems that it was a little grease experience, especially that they spent a long time recording that multiple times, but it isn't that big of a deal to him 😂😂

I like how pd didn't want Butter to be overshadowed by another release and now PTD is almost certain to knock it out of it's number 1 spot. Nothing else can really dethrone BTS.... except for more BTS.

for me, dynamite was their "hi we are bts and we are slightly entering to western music market not to make you bother too much :)" type of a comeback, easy and cute but the taste, the charisma of butter IS something else, it sounds really mature

the offended "THIS BRIDGE" part really got me rolling bcs SAMEE!! that part alone is so gooood

I will support every song they release, in ANY language. It's their art, it's their music, it's their hard work, whatever direction they choose, I will support it. They expand and reach new heights while never losing their roots. The contents of BE after Dynamite proved this to me. There is nothing to worry for.

Out of Dynamite , Butter and Permission to dance, butter is definitely my favourite just like PD said it has more style and it's more unique

The best thing I like the most in BUTTER is that Jin has many lines.

Butter is their single and their july comeback is just a release of their single physical album with another additional single called Permission to Dance. PTD is more of a gift song on the anniversary for ARMY more than anything. It's not getting the same push as Butter. Of all their 3 english songs, I like Butter the most. It's so groovy and the bridge is just 10/10 of all bridges.

I still like Butter more than Permission To Dance, tbh. I love how positive I feel, either way , with either song. But Butter just sounds better for me. Permission To Dance might grow more on me though, the mor I listen. I still think Butter will be the favourite of the English song trio.

butter is their official comeback song but they just released “permission to dance” which is the b-side to butter. it is also a gift for army (released on army day).

Their personalities and relationship is what I love the most about BTS. They are sooo funny and competitive and weird in the best way haha. Run BTS is also a great variety show with lots of their funny weirdness haha

It's not a b-side, it's a single! Albums can have multiple singles, BTS mentioned it as a single in an interview. Just like MOTS7 had Black Swan and On, both were promoted and performed on music shows, tv shows and etc

I'm not sure if it should be a B-side: - the song is crazy good cheerful - the song has a deeper meaning than Butter (with COVID-19 end hope) - it's written be Ed Sheeran I like both songs but I think it should be promoted just as well because it diserves it, maybe more than Butter

BTS has always experimented with different styles! Loving BTS is more than loving what they do for YOU or the messages they have that YOU connect with. They have so much control over their creativity and music at this point, we know this is genuine for them regardless of the language! I'm so proud of them!

Butter for me is definitely the better song, from the MV, Music, and the lyrics. Dynamite to me felt like BTS dipping their toes into something new, had that nervousness and excitement of doing something really different for the first time. Butter feels more personal and self-assured, more confident and comfortable. They ooze confidence in this. Just out of curiousity have you checked out the BE album and do you have a favorite track from it? Suga’s verse in Dis-ease has to be one of my favorite Suga verses in a long while.

You'll never convince me that "Butter" isn't a soft diss track, a kickback towards those who are accusing BTS of being "too westernized". There is no way that they are unaware of the slang definition of the word butter. That only makes me love this song even more because it's BTS at their cheeky flex best. Nothing drives a hater closer to the edge than a confident, laughing response. And nobody does that better than BTS. "Butter" is nothing less than a smoother, sweeter , cooler , "Mic Drop".

I just rewatched In The Soop recently for fun and because I missed my guys, lol I love it. I’m actually surprised you haven’t seen their variety content before. I recommend their Bon Voyage series. Season 1 (2016) was in Skandinavia/Northern Europe, Season 2 (2017) was Hawaii, Season 3 (2018) is in Malta, and Season 4 (2019) was in New Zealand.

They already came back with another track before PD could react to butter 🧈

lesson for today is that you liking a song more than another one doesn't mean the 2nd song is bad or whatever they both can be really good songs i love dynamite. it's a great song. but butter is my favorite out of two. it just never gets old for me

I think the way they layered the song and the little tidbits and adlibs they used in butter was way more in depth than what they did in dynamite (?) it makes every part of the song seems fresh and the track timeless and amazing for repeated listens. I absolutely love the use of voice box vocals in pied piper and the way the used it again in this song is just out o this world they really nailed it.

Personal prefernce 1 - PTD - because it's such a happy song and also has a great deeper message 2 - Butter - because it's cool and the lyrics are cool 3 - Dynamite - sounds good but the lyrics are among the most vanilla or meaningless our of off BTS songs (again personal impressions, no hate or negativity 😀)

@@lovinmclovin5290 DYNAMITE isn't meaningless actually. It has a lot of pop references that you might not understand if not familiar with it and also, it talks about celebrating together. But personally, such lyrics aren't my style too.

Typically I sit in silence watching your videos and talk to myself, but I had to get up and start dancing and singing when the chorus hit. Butter definitely hits different and I still get chills every time I listen it or watch the MV and there’s not a lot of songs no matter how much I enjoy them that give me that reaction regardless how many times I’ve heard it. The serotonin is off the charts with this song. Butter enthusiast rise up 😂
