People literally made a PETITION to renew "Anne with an e" with a new season, but they just didn't care and made movies like these, I mean people were watching these movies but they were making fun of them, whereas "Anne with an e" had soo many great messages, character arcs and don't even get me started on the filmography just iconic!!! I am so disappointed with the content that Netflix is putting out...

Right, idc if it was a misunderstanding, my ex from 2020 cheated on me because she suspected I was cheating on her (I wasn’t) and I will never ever let her in my life again let alone date her, and I am not mr anger issues that Jacob Elordi plays in these movies. Makes zero sense terrible writing.

Y’all ever notice the fact that in most of these teen romcoms the “rival” in the relationship is a poc who is somewhat better than the person they were dating but then the FL chooses the guy who they were to begin with who is the one she fights with like 24/7 but hey it’s the power of love ig 💀. This happened in Tall Girl 2, The Kissing Booth, To All The Boys, After, and I think that’s it but maybe there’s more.

i'm just gonna say this, every problem was literally elle's fault but she never stopped taking things out on other people and thinking it was theirs, nothing was ever her fault and then when she finally was at her lowest and everyone was gone because of the fact that she took her anger out on people, she still never apologized and that whole time skip happened and she still ended up alone and single💀

haven't watched this movie myself, but having seen highlights of it...WHY are there so many deep talk/serious conversation scenes, it's so dramatic and exhausting. If they think that would make this film meaningful????they be wrooong. I've accepted the cheesy montages of "look how much fun we're having". But why not just show how much fun they're having more, and THEN have less "serious" conversations, because as a viewer it would make the few serious moments more relatable and moving. Now it just feels cheesy, tacky and over dramatic. Then again, I have no experience being a rich spoiled american movie teenager, maybe all this is realistic, but I just ain't getting it?

I would be worried with her being a game developer. Considering how apparently sexist the environment is, not to mention many gaming companies having issues with sexual harrassment, and even lately there was a girl who committed suicide after someone raped her and the game company tried to bury it. Seriously, as much I'd love to see women being in a male dominant environment, I get scared for those reasons for the women who enter these fields.

But I see all of these things you've listed as precisely the reasons for why we need more representation in the industry. We can only change these things if we make people take responsibility for treating women like this, but also by encouraging women to not avoid male dominated fields.

Is it bad if I say Elle is kind of the problem? Like don’t get me wrong those guys should not be forcing her to choose a freaking schools and to choose one of them over the other But like Elle be creating all these issues by one not communicating properly Two by continuing to use people and lead on people like Marco Three by trying ti follow along with these dumb bucket list items that she and her bestie created when they were like still in the womb. Like girl it’s great to create a bucket list with your best friend and to want to tick everything off but like still as you grow older you’re supposed to like adjust your list to suit how you are maturing. She needed to realize that she didn’t need to constantly be pleasing every single person, and to take time to actually reflect in what she wanted and realizing her faults instead of going backwards and not making progress in her life

I think Marco was definitely the better choice considering he actually listened to her and they enjoyed each others company and always had fun without any problems or worries 🤔 Her relationship with Noah is only based on the fact that she’s liked him for a long time for..literally no reason, just because he was hot. She even lists all the ways she doesn’t like him throughout the movies e.g he is/was a player, gets into fights too much, is bad at communicating etc. Watching this made me realise how much Elle was the problem even though we were made to believe she was this innocent girl that cares for everyone 😭

Actually it wasn't a wig. The long hair she wore throughout the movie was a wig because she had shaved her head for her role in "The Act". So her short hair at the end was her hair growing back.

This is soooooooo unnecessary like- Why do they make these sequels? There is no need for them, no one is wondering "what is gonna happen next?!?!?" Literally no one. Also when they have no conflicts or problems. They literally had to make unnecessary conflicts to make them (movies) somewhat interesting... The way I was cringing... there are no words. But I was also laughing so much, the reactions and commentary, you might be the funniest person I've ever seen.

All of the drama was literally all Elles fault like seriously she’s the one who put that much pressure on herself which was completely unecessary, and then she became so aggressive and passive and selfish and she literally blamed everyone around her, and i feel so bad for Noah because Elle literally kissed Marco in front of him and refused to take responsibility for it and totally bringing up Chloe as an excuse to victimize herself but he was right, he didn’t kiss Chloe and he had all the rights to be angry and she literally villainized him for it and just totally dismissed it, whenever anyone disagrees or gives her good advice she just turns into a complete jerk about it and doesn’t listen to anyone and feels like shes the only one allowed to feel lonely or angry, she is just stubborn, aggressive and mean and i really cant stand her
