What a fantastic product! I love my 10 litre ones! I used to work for a company ( large Japanese owned) & they released a two litre draft system. It is no more but this 10 litre idea sounds fantastic! As you said just over a slab and the cost difference between glass / aluminium cans plus the shrink wrap and the carton would be close to the cost of one of these 10 litre kegs! What a fantastic idea! Even the mega swill guys should take these on! Including that mob I previously mentioned ;) great work guys!

This is really good use of pet plastics. Australia really needs to get its shit together with a recycling plant. If we return then after the test time date and you guys take it to a faculty grind it up then make more kegs again it’s use is infinite. Great product

I recently got into homebrewing beer and have been considering a keg system to experiment with and this seems perfect. Price is on point, i can't quite justify dropping several hundreds on some old banged up second hand stainless steel stuff.

The ball lock variety of these kegs are a great solution without massive financial investment for anyone wanting to get into kegging. The commercial variety are already providing commercial breweries with the advantages PET offers in keg packaging. And get this... When the commercial variety Aussie King Kegs are taken off tap empty the tanks can be utilised by homebrewers who can depressurised them, clean, sanitise and get our ball lock caps to turn them into fermenters and PET kegs for their home systems. It's easy to change over and environmentally it's just better.

I did notice a bit of hesitation a few times when saying "King Keg". I am wondering if there were a few outtakes of "Keg King" rather than "King Keg"? Will the permanent PRV be added to the home brew version?

For the ball lock variety kegs you will have a PRV in the lid where the posts are located rather than in the neck where our commercial variety king kegs have theirs. In the ball lock variety the neck is closed.

Any new information? I’d imagine we will still need some co2 to carbonate the beer unless a pressure ferment will be sufficient? Will it be possible to remove the need for a co2 bottle?
