Chubby Apollo is the newest addition to the P.E.T. Pressure Fermenter Range available from Keg King Australia.
This 30 Litre (7.9 gallon) fermenter combines the free standing tank of our globally popular Chubby fermenter with the wider lid and integrated handles of our popular Apollo variety conical fermenters!
YES! You can get your whole hand and arm into the top of the tank for easy cleaning.
YES! You can lift the whole fermenter using NEW integrated handles that are strong enough hold it when it’s full!

The tanks are thicker and stronger with Chubby Apollo PLUS we individually pressure test every single tank!

Used a chubby before, in my opinion they aren't as good as the all rounder so I went that route, but at least this version now has some of the all rounder features that make it so easy to use and clean that it should have had originally.

@@PeterPavlovic-gl8lx That was my problem with the old chubby you really needed a keg washer (more expense) to clean it properly, where a all rounder was easy to clean by hand.

Nice work Peter! Toatally agree. Keg Washers make home brewery life so much more enjoyable because cleaning equipment and kegs becomes a background activity. Anyone who has a few ball lock kegs and other ball lock equipment should get one. They aren't expensive and they do the work of cleaning for you while you do other things. Easy!

I have been using my original Chubby for fermenting wine and it's been great. Only thing is the opening is a little small for additions like grape skins in a sock. This is a great blend of my two favourite fermenters. Well done

Just getting into fermenting under pressure & I’ve been torn between the Chubby and the All-Rounder but now I’ve seen the new Chubby Apollo has the new improved wider neck, I think I’ll just hand on until it hits the Uk suppliers

I really, really, hope this comes to Ireland (or to somewhere in the EU that delivers here). I'm keen to get into pressure fermenting but the conical PET versions would get knocked over anywhere that I ferment and the normal Apollo looks like a pain to clean for normal hand sizes.
