The Kills are one of those rare, incredible bands that end up defining a generation of music that would come later. I'm so appreciative to have been alive and able to enjoy them over the last 15+ years.

walks in; sweet smile; candid eye contact; sudden flouncing; random spinning; turns into a rock'n'roll goddess.

I never really loved a band before. I'm fifty something. And I never really LOVED a band before. But I fucking love these guys. I get weepy. (Anyone feel me?)

+Leafar Leaf I totally agree with you and John. I love The Kills! I went to three shows on first leg of US tour in May and seeing three more next month. Best shows I've ever seen.

Ditto. Almost 50 here and when I'm glad I discovered them via Anthony Bourdain. He was raving about them in a podcast and I do admire his taste in music. So I checked them out on youtube and after a few seconds of listening, bought Ash and Fire on iTunes. Since then I've been 'evangelizing' the group amongst all my friends.

Im not 50 something, but i can totally relate to this. Before i first heard these guys 8 or so years ago (midnight boom), i was not really interested in any modern music. These two completely restored my faith, that plenty of great songs, had yet to be created.

Jamie's tone is unbelievable, and Alison... well she's a force of nature. Thanks for sharing!

the kills are my "soul band" - they always make me feel like myself, ya feel? like a soulmate, but a band. feeling honored to be alive the same era as them tbqh. i have grown with them since Midnight Boom, and here we are now. it makes me emotional how i've seen them evolve as a band, and as people as well. i love them so much, thank you Red Meat Heart for brining us this beauty. xxxx

This is my first date with this band and already I went to sleep with them.

This is what music is all about. You can definitely feel something.

Arguably one of the greatest bands in the past 10 years.

Hotel`s guitars sounds gorgeous, he did a great job on elaborating his own sound !!

Lost his middle finger use in a car door accident in 2013 :/ But he always had a very wild guitar tone and play.

As a fifties something musician (guitar and vox) I always worry about being stuck in a time warp when it comes to my repertoire. I see what The Kills are doing with their music and I think the future of music is in good hands. Their sound and vibe is different .... and that's the point. I don't mind the drum machine, the electronica and the fuzzy guitars because it all seems to come out great in the end. They must be terrific live .... the rhythm section is tight, the guitars are eclectic and I could watch her energy, talent and beauty forever.

Have seen them a few times now and they are awesome. Am also a musician approaching 50 (and Jaime of course is now in his 50s) and adore their fuzzy sound too. It's raw and edgy and sexy and brings together my love of alternative and blues. Love it.

When she sings bitter fruit I can't stop watching / listening.......

Saw these guys open for Qotsa and came three times during the set.

This band is Magic!

Two of the best musicians out there. Hands down. Saw them on this tour and again a few nights ago in Seattle. Incredible!

This is fantastic Rock. What a Rock N Roll Blessing. This is who the White Stripes wanted to be.

Reminds me of a modern day Debbie Harry. Lots of passion and energy on stage, no autotune, and no need for people in the background to cover up guitar mistakes (example: Courtney Love). It's rare for a group to sound better live than in the studio.

Saw them at last year's Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, and they blew me away! Hot, sexy, tremendous groove!

I know you all talk about Jamie and how his guitar is "simple". Have you ever tried recreating it? Original Killd were VV, Hotel and and a drum machine. If you have multiple delay pedals running against each other and authentic tremolo effect, and a guitar with endless knobs and onstage chemistry with a girl... by all means

Attitude matters way more than elaboration or technical wizardry. I mean, no one listens to AC/DC and wishes they'd played in 5/8 or used Locrian scales

I’m not really a huge fan of their 2016 album “Ash & Ice” but damn the songs off it really kick ass live. Mosshart always has such a great energy

Ian McCulloch the lead vocalist of Echo and the Bunnymen talks openly about The song "The killing Moon" featuring in Donnie Dario. Saying it came to him through the aether complete and was of divine nature.
