Jamie is an amazing guitarist. So creative and original.

I mean.....how fuckin good is this song, how the guitar hits n vibrates through your soul, the lyrics "farewell black balloon, let the weather have its way with you" is pure magic especially cuts a lil deeper if your either an addict, recovering addict n that lifelong battle that we all fight n lose n win some, to fall again n again only to get back up to fight wit what you got left each time! Kills definitely meet the criteria for what punk stood for. As more time passes they will only become a bigger n bigger influence on future bands without a doubt! Great great band!!

whoever says the kills are better than the killers deserves a medal and a ribbon and an award for seeing the truth

The Kills are great artists this song is superb

one of the best bands in the last decade - hands down

I like the lead guitar's tone and style. And her vocals are pretty sick.

The way this song builds up is...... amazing.

she is not an average singer, she's one of the best singers in rock n roll right now

@davidian5 pretty sure thats a Fender Six. its a baritone guitar made for a short time by fender very rare

@davidian5 They look different to my eyes, but I think that he is using really heavy strings like 11's or 12's which have really great tones, deeper bass more rounded sound but are tougher to the guitar since they cause a lot more tension.

it's a recording. Alison pushes the pedal at the beginning with her foot to start the clapping track

You can even see that in a next shot, he´s moving away from the pedal board, but Alison is standing still for the whole time.

yeah, 2 pogs on one pedal board is insane, i kinda wanna know whether if you put the both on at the same time you could make a 36 string

It´s actually Jamie´s foot:) You can see his whole pedal board. Alison don´t use any guitar pedal whatsoever. I know that it looks like woman´s shoes, but it´s Jamie´s foot for sure:)

he uses 2 ehx pogs an 2 boss delays dd7 or dd3, the other pedals are to controll the drum machine and ayb boxes to switch between amps

Alison Mosshart is not lead guitar. Jamie Hince in the back round is. Alison is the lead singer, but Jamie also sings in songs like No Wow and Future starts slow.

@t0mtreflip thats like comparing tables to carpet, they're entirely differnt as bands, music subjective so in that since they're uncomparable, The Kills have a dirty sound to thwem and the Killers have much more of a clean-cut sound, you're comparing them by name.... good job
