Back in the cold war, everytime there was a 'world crisis', everyone's attention went to how this could lead to the Cold War becoming hot.

I was a Chieftain crewman. My buddy served with a British locating regiment, they watched the Soviet artillery shots, and calculated the guns position before they could move. Then a MLRS battery would respond by destroying the grid square (1sq Km) they sat in.

The T-55 was armed with a 100mm cannon, not 115mm. The only tank i can remember that used the 115mm was the T-62's. Also, the Chieftain wasnt so great in protection against the 100mm. The T-55 had worse armor in general, but at the time, armor was easy to bypass with HEAT-FS and APDSFS. And another note, by 1964 the USSR was already rolling out the T-64A, which has a 125mm cannon, and much better protection than any american or british tank at the time as the allied forces were mostly just M48's and similar models.

The reason our special forces used captured AKs is they could take ammo off dead enemy troops behind enemy lines since they couldn’t get supply lines of 7.62 nato

The F-4 was a unicorn of an airplane, equally beloved by all branches that used it and equally capable of performing almost any role vs. a platform specifically designed for it. The US has been trying to repeat this feat ever since, to varying degrees of success but nowhere close to the Phantom. The F-35 is just the latest example of their futile attempt to make lightning strike the same spot twice.

for people who want to learn more about soviet tanks I suggest watching the Armschair historian video about Soviet/Russian tanks and I am suprised that Tsar Bomba is not in this video as it is the most dangerous weapon created to this day by the USSR

A T-55 may be able to survive a nuclear attack but I would imagine the morale would be pretty low afterward. I hope soldiers would be clever enough to just let the enemy win if they had been nuked without launching nukes themselves

Can you please do a video on what's happening in Canada right now? Thousands of dead babies are being found buried under residential school properties and none of us were taught about the murders of children in our history classes. This NEEDS to be a lesson.
