I just want to come back, nearly a year later, and share that this song is still part of our culture of rats at our house. We occasionally will take them out and dance with them with Veronica and your crew keeping the beat.

One of the greatest things you are doing, besides making amazing videos, is that you are promoting kindness toward animals and even donating to their safety! Well, you made me cry. Earlier this year our hamster Cabbage died and he made me fall in love with rodents. This video already makes me think of him, now it's going to hit even harder.

Going beyond than normal makes people taking their hats-off as a salute, a compliment to the work done. Hats-off was changed off-hats in the phrase just to agree with PETTING and PETS to make it a more catchy sentence. Sometimes we don't take things in it's literal sense. We hope this explanation will help.

My younger sister had pet rats for her kids when they were little. One happy Christmas I had a turkey coma adorned with four rats: one on each shoulder & one in each jacket pocket. We snoozed together. So clean, & they don't chew hair. Sadly, though, their sweet little lives are not long. 🐀 🐀 🐀 🐀
