Marriage on the Rock was a book that helped me with seeing my faults in our marriage. This was in 1999. We were on the verge of destroying our lives and our four children’s lives. 14 years of marriage that was tossed aside because I couldn’t see how to honor my husband. My husband couldn’t see how to lay down his life for me. But thankfully, a friend told me about this book and I read it with a broken heart and it spoke to me and gave me hope. Here we are, almost at 34 years. Happy, committed to each other and serving God every day. I’m thankful for stumbling onto this book and turning my life around.

My husband almost walked out on us today, on this day 05/18/18 and because of just 30 minutes of this series saved our marriage of 17 years. I'm witness that this really works and is not only a marriage saver but a life saver. The money is well worth spent. Next month when we get our social security checks we're getting the series, the full series. Thank you God and jimmy & Karen for this Goldy life saver. We love you.

This is how I wanted to feel a few months ago when I started seeing the signs on the wall. My ex husband showed a lot of disinterest in the relationship and I was really going to let them go if the wanted. unfortunately I was too curious to know what really happened and if there was something that could be fix in there. He was a gentleman and I trusted but he showed strong signs of infidelity and it made uncertain unwanted most of the time, i wanted to know. My friend told me it was possibe to find out everything without risks through phone spying. she introduced me to a guy " Binaryreap3r @ gmial com " who helped me spy on my ex's phone until I found out he was having a same-sex affair all along. I still let him go but I did that knowing I am totally perfect and I just stopped hurting

The most attractive thing to me is not seeing my husband doing the house work, but what's most important is his heart and to see him seeking God by reading His Word and prayer wanting to draw closer to Christ. Seeking the heart of God growing closer in a personal RELATIONSHIP wanting to KNOW God with growing deep, deep roots. May not be happening in reality, but in my prayers it's what I long for. Just to have a man that is devoutly seeking to be pleasing unto Lord with his mind, his eyes, his body, his soul..

I just found your videos on KZread for the first time in my life, and I can honestly say you are an absolute Godsend! It couldn't have come at a more crucial time in my life..... I've had suicidal thoughts, and just wanting to give up on my marriage and life, even though I have twin 4 year olds. 😢 My inlaws have and still continue to try and get my wife to leave me..... but you have given me enough hope in myself that I believed I could go get a job, I went and applied, and got hired for a job, and I went to my wife and told her I'm ready to forget myself and put her FIRST... all because of you being an instrument in God's hands....I hope some day I can meet you in person, and thank you personally! THANK YOU! AND GOD BLESS!

Thanks so much for your ministry. It is so helpful in my life. My wife and I are separated going on 4 months now. I have failed her so much. I talk to her like a dog. I am very ashamed for the things I do. I am bipolar and have to take several medications to keep it at bay. I tend to use my illness as a crutch to justify my evil doing. We are both Strong Christians and I know not to treat my wife that way . Your seminar has opened my eyes to the way. I give it all to God and ask the Holy Spirit to help me make my words the true meaning of my Spirit filled Heart. Thank you and God bless

Brother Jeromey, joining you and our Christ-centered Family of Brothers and Sisters in prayer to Abba Daddy Papa Father God, the God of All Compassion, Comfort and Hope and the Father of Many Mercies of Heavenly Lights that He will continue to train you up in the Way you should go and correct you with His Almighty Sovereign Hand of Graces upon Graces. We men need to force our mouths shut and only open them when needed with kind words of compassion and when we need to softly rebuke our wives, we need to do it with a spirit of gentleness and the very Spirit of Christ Jesus, The Spirit of Meekness and Quietness. I do feel your pain very well Jeromey for I too was diagnosed so many years ago at first with clinical depression and then the state hospital changed the diagnosis to Manic/Depression that now is called bipolar and they also diagnosed me with severe paranoid schizophrenia. BUT Thanks be to the God of Many Mercies and Healing for sending His Word (Christ Jesus) and Healing me from all diseases, sickness and death. Psalm 107:20 and that was over 26 years ago before Christ Jesus rescued me from the flesh/myself, the world and the devil. I still have a lot of issues with the bipolar episodes but truly do not hear voices any longer or visions but only hear the Voice of Christ Jesus by reading His Holy and Perfect and Loving Word. I grew up in dysfunction and my parents separated when I was 3 and then divorced when I was 8. My brothers and I went to the orphanage and then foster homes for about 2 years before our Mom fought to get us back. It was hard growing up without a dad; three failed marriages for my mother and she raised us 5 boys by herself and the help of Almighty God. It was not easy but well worth going through the hard ordeal and early life; but Praise Father God as this is how most of my brothers and I came to a Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ. But the fight and battle and the arduous hill is all so heavy and high to climb. My beautiful wife for life keeps reminding me that "It Is Finished" And the Battle is Already Won by King Christ Jesus! But we are still here on Planet Earth and the war is still raging and we need to choose to crucify our flesh and not run off of the God's Ordained and Anointed Altar of being a Living Sacrifice and choose daily to say no to ourselves and Yes to The Lord's Best Plan for our lives. I know brothers and sisters it is not easy BUT it is well worth it for our very Eternal Destiny in either Hell forever lost without Christ Jesus' Love and Presence or in Heaven with The God of All Creation and The King of All Glory and Joy depends on what daily choices we make. These choices we make in front of people and behind closed doors. So let us choose wisely my friends and we have Father God's Holy, Eternal Word and Promise on it; "If you faint not (do not give up) you WILL reap a harvest"....Study Bible Carry One Another's Burdens …8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.…Galatians 6:8-10 - Berean Study Bible · Download

I am at a loss and don't know what to do. Please bare with me for those willing to read this. I am not without fault and not to make excuses-- I am a disabled veteran that with my pain levels it is a great factor in my mood with anxiety and short tempered to raise my voice but never physically acted on my anger (I have been through anger management counseling 3 years ago and it has been drastically improved). My wife and I of 8 yours were both in previous marriages that had felled Both of us had been unhappy for several years in our previous marriages and we had dated briefly off and on 20 years ago while in high school we both were married and had 4 children each. Our 2 daughters were best friends in elementary school in the same grade for 5 years before either one of us had even talked to the other, long story short we had rekindled a relationship that both of us had wanted being that we were both in loveless marriages it is Sad to say that we were unfaithful to our spouses and had developed a relationship with eachother. We both had separated and had gotten together a blended family her 4 kids, my 4 kids and now 2 children together for a grand total of 10 children zoo. Anyways we had both watched a few sermons on KZread, After my wife had started reading The Bible on a regular basis (I'm talking sometimes 6 to 8 hours out of the day) she decided that our marriage had started in an ungodly way so according to The Bible as she would say. It wasn't long and she had come to me and told me that we started out in sin and that sex would no longer going to be for pleasure (little did I know "No Longer At All". Long story short my wife had found Life Church in Wichita Kansas and started attending with my 4 older stepchildren ages 21, 19, 17 and 13 so there wasn't room in the car for all of us, I went with her one day and we had taken our 2 younger children with us that were 5 and 7 years of age. My wife had determined that with the hour and a 1/2 drive each direction it was too much to get up early us get the kids ready and travel to church with us so it was decided for me that I would have to stay home with the 2 younger children on Sundays and watch services online. "We are unequally yoked" since I do not physically sit down and read the Bible but that is because I cannot grasp what I am reading due to my pain level I will read something multiple times so I do all of my bible reading on the Bible app were it is read to me and I can understand it that way but she insists that it isn't the same. I am trying to learn about God, Jesus and The Bible (pun intended "RELIGIOUSLY"). I feel that I am the only one fighting for our marriage she has just given up (it hurts being rejected in EVERY FORM for almost 2 years now). There is so much more to our story but I have went on longer than these fat little fingers will allow for right now. What to do ??? Thank you for any comments or suggestions in advance. Robert

Keep seeking the Lord. Repent for the past, do whatever you can to learn and grow in relationship with Jesus and ask the Spirit to guide you as you strive to become a Godly husband. And to encourage you to get back on track when you fall. Keep God first and find solice in Him. My prayers go out to you as I see the effort behind your comment. I pray that God opens the eyes of your wife and that eventually she will see His character impacting yours. Be patient until she comes around. I pray that God opens her heart to be an honoring wife and helper to you. God Bless you.

Thanks a lot Dr. Evans for the godly, wise advices you give to all people so they can have godly marriages! Blessings.. This word in Ephesians 5 : 22 "submit" has created many negative things between couples. By studying this word in Aramaic we find the right translation from that language is not submit but devoted, the word submit came from Greek.. The right translation for that verse is : " For wives, this means being tenderly devoted to your husbands like you are tenderly devoted to our Lord..." See The Passion Translation By Dr. Brian Simmons... You can watch Dr. Simmons on of of Sid Roth KZread.

I heard a man say he kept telling himself he could find another woman so he wasn’t going to continue fighting for his marriage. The wife prayed her husband would change his ways and want her after he grew. The husband realized the grass wasn’t greener and prayed to God -- changed his ways and now do whatever it took to please his wife

Lol my husband loves to say the bible says “wife submit to your husband “ lol I love my husband so much I’m here to seek more information on marriage and how important it is for me to know and study my vows I strive to keep my husband happy. Me and my husband out grew our wedding bands and thank Jesus I got to go to the mall to get them resized for us despite my husband never left the car to go in and size his finger I was so happy the jewelry guy said I could take the size rings out to the car to get the proper size fit for my husband I was so thankful my husband went through with it I thought he was not going to let me size his finger but he did .I was nervous the price would be 500.00 dollars to fix our rings but surprisingly it only will cost 150.00 🙏 I thought of Jesus right away !

To all struggling with the assigning of “who gets respect and who gets love”. Men are instructed to give what they do not “naturally” give to their wives, and that is Love in the form that SHE receives it. Men naturally, for the most part, give out respect because thats what they naturally function on. Same for women. We naturally give out love, but respect not so much. And the big kicker here my brothers and sisters, Our spouses are NOT required to EARN it before we GIVE it. This is harder for women I think. To respect when we feel the man is not respectable is sooooo difficult. IDE love to hear the mans point of view about showing love, or demonstrating love to an unloving woman.

Listening to this in only a few seconds I started to break down crying. I realize that my marriage is NOTHING like it should be. I am a believer for the past three years and my husband is an unbeliever. We have been married over25 years and he is acting out in every way a man could in a marriage without leaving me altogether. We still have two small children to raise and he acts like he has none as well as no wife. He is involved with another woman who is pulling him away from his family. I am breaking down because I don't see us ever having this marriage the way God would want it to be. I have prayed and fasted and wonder if it is just time to move on. I love my husband but he has caused so much pain. I forgive him but I don't accept his behavior. He wants to stay but Is it really God's will?

Dee, give the man over to your Heavenly Father. Then ask the Lord for grace to do what He says in 1 Peter 3:1-2. Then if the unbelieving husband wants to depart, it's God's will. And if he wants to stay, it's God's will. Because you gave the man over to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:12-16.

the scripture is very true. But at the same time don't focus on what your spouse is doing! focus on what God can do. The spirit is the only thing that change the mind of someone who's walking not according to his plan. Remember nothing is impossible for God. Walk God brother.

I am married to a husband of a completely different religion - one that is related to a lot of terror around the world. The first 5 years of our marriage went pretty smooth, but after our child was born is when the very real struggle began. I was determined our child would not be raised in that religion. My husband forbid me to ever take him to a church. The struggle was real and intense and I wanted out of this marriage in the worst way. But God! He began to lead me and guide me every step of the way. He started with healing my heart toward my husband and gave His heart for him. I began to see him through God's eyes. At one point, before God changed my heart, my husband told me he only stayed with me because of our child. I didn't say it, but I was thinking, please don't let that stop you. I was a professional and I felt I could support myself and my child very well on my own. After God showed me that I had not been a Godly wife, (I was a Christian with all my heart, but my behavior and attitude toward my spouse needed changing) I began to read Christian books on marriage (this was way before I discovered Jimmy Evans or before he was on TV) and almost without exception they would say, it takes both of you to change. It took me several years to change some of my ways and to learn to trust God that He could change the heart of my husband as in Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." After about 6 or 7 years of following the leading of the Holy Spirit and much study and prayer on my part, my husband grabbed me and kissed me one morning in the kitchen and said, "You know, since your transformation I would marry you all over again whether you Christian or Muslim" I had never shared with him my experience with what the Lord had told me (he would have scoffed at it anyways), but he did see the books I was reading on marriage around the house. Later when I discovered Jimmy & Karen Evans, I immediately fell in love with their teaching and ministry because he was the first person I heard that said it only takes one to change a marriage. I have now been married over 33 years and my son has grown up to be an awesome passionate man of God. My husband is still practicing his religion even more devoutly, but I have seen God move miraculously so many times during our marriage that I believe he will be saved as is promised in Acts 16:31. I see this remark that I am replying to was written 3 years ago. I just hope that my testimony offers hope to anyone who may be in the same situation. I still listen to Jimmy & Karen frequently as we can all benefit from a "tune up" and peace (the Prince of Peace) continues to reign in my home.

I really want to change my behaviour, my son to be a Christian and him too. I see my home through yours and I pray God does answers my prayers too. God continually bless you and your home.

A marriage counselor, picked my now EX-wife's friend, after spending countless hours with her, finally realized what I was dealing with. The harshest thing she finally said: "Barbara, a LOT of what I am looking for in a husband, I see in MARK !" On another visit, "Barbara, that's what husbands are SUPPOSED to do." She never caught on, we are now divorced after FOURTEEN YEARS
