This is the first song i used to learn how to sing. I think I started from zero and I had no idea how hard it is. The idea was if I can do what John Legend do then I can sing that song. Lol. I will sing it everyday several time for months without any progress. You can imagine the frustration and how many times I give up. Only after one year with persistence I managed at last to sing it. If you ask me, it's not worth it, it's much better to learn from a teacher because you will know all the theories and explanation. After watching this video I can understand many things and still can learn a couple of new things.

I'm going through puberty so my voice changes so fast that HOO vocal practice seems so hard for me smh i can't get it. Six months ago the higher pitches were easy and low notes near impossible but my voice did a uno reverse on me lol

at the high ALL in the lyrics my voice suddenly choke up like as if there was a triangle in my chords and I sound harsh before I get the clear tone back... what is happening in this movement and how to not strain up tight in the chords in that ALL?" ... thanks for a really great class here, just found this channel! super easy to follow along, but I do not low I sound like Marge Simpson all of a sudden ha ha.,. and the back to a relaxed high baryton voice that is acceptable for my level og singing now.. but if you want to hire a crazy cat with exceptional high strianed pitch that scare even the worst ghosts in town, Who do you call... Meeee ha ha.. my god... I need to learn what is going on in high pitched tones....thanks

I recommend singing lessons - I studied with Ken Tamplin online, but there are many teachers. Basically, sing lightly when you sing high, and voice modifactions help a lot, that is singing 'uh' rather than 'ah' when singing the word 'all' up high. Practice makes perfect!
