With the Hurricaneger keys, it stills surprises me that they didn’t give the keys gray arms like they do on the suits

The thing with beet buster is yes the original ones had the yellow charge key cut but the weird thing is ShinkenGold, MagiShine, and Go-On Gold all had the special charge key cut which makes the new beet buster more accurate to the other gold rangers

I hope we get the rest of the zenkaiger ranger keys

The code number for Beet/Stag is “W”. Or what would give “Special Charge” in the Galleon Buster. It’s basically the White key code. Abarekiller had the same code alongside other Gold/Silver rangers.

I would not say it is weird; however, unique!!!

I do hope they'll continue with this trend just to have the older sentai teams ranger keys (and the new ones also of course). If they do the next batch with #47 Kingohger, then it'll include #7 Dynaman, #17 Dairanger, #27 Abaranger and #37 Kyoryuger which so far I don't have as full sets. So I would love them 😍

Beat buster was a upgrade. The original beat buster is the only gold ranger key with a yellow cut, every other gold key is the same cut as the saber and buster only come with a set color ranger (red, blue, yellow, green, pink, black, and I believe "special", there might also be white but I can't remember off the top of my head). Gold and silver are grouped as special as they are never a part of the main team. I think it probably has something to do when they were programing the saber they didn't know if gokaigers sixth would be gold or silver so they did that to cover bases. But that's just a guess

I still wish they included a Don Torabolt and Don Murasame key

What's especially bizarre about the Goraiger and Shurikenger keys is that Dragon Ranger has his own unique key cut for some reason (still says Zyuranger, but it's still a different pattern) and they decided to keep that for some reason

This Key set is just plain odd given how redundant it makes some of the past releases, but the Donbrothers on their own should have been an option as well as including Don ToraVolt and Don Murasame in general. And you'd think with the lines of communication between Toei and Bandai and with how early new Sentai and Rider get planned, they'd have the foresight to include a Donbrothers sound in the Memorial Mobirates, at they very least, a sound barrel like they had in some of the previous P-Bandai Ranger Key sets could have worked. Also, since the Ranger Key book which showed the prop versions was brought up, a small thing about them is that every Ranger Key prop uses the Key cut for Gokai Red.

I've seen some videos of the donbrothers stage shows and the inu brother suit cracks me up. That huge helmet must weigh a ton lol.

If I were bandai, I would sell don torabalt and Zenkaiser black in a key set of post gokaiger teams with red rectangles on them. just so you would have to live with the fact that those would be avatar change keys and not proper ranger team keys. Yes, I'm that heartless

I do hope Bandai does something like that in the future if they run out of ideas, I like the way you are thinking. They could do Zenkai Zyuran, Gaoon, Magine, and Vroom alongside the avatar change keys for don torabolt and Zenkaiser Black. They could even do the other keys for Zyuohger, Lupinranger Vs Patranger, Ryusoulger and Kiramager. Then they could do the rest of Kyuranger as a stand-alone set. Almost similar to the ToQger rainbow key set

I just realized that they removed Hurricane Blue’s skirt, which is accurate to the prop.

Rather late but do you think it's possible to swap out the key cuts by taking apart the keys or are the cuts molded into the body of the key? Just curious since if I could do that it would be possible to get the old candy toy Gouraiger and Shurikenger keys, spray paint the cuts to match the silver of the Memorial keys, and swap them out with the cuts given to the new ones. If not then... why do you hurt me Bandai?

I have custom keys of Drakkon (evil Tommy's) and demon hunter zek (from gogo v) - that I altered to say the 2 hurricanger sounds Other than having all the keys made past and present I also took a Go-Busters red memorial key and changed the head and "key cut" to be a memorial edition alternate Go-Busters red

The current ranger key releases are made by only swapping out the heads molds. While I would have like a short Inubrother Bandai probably decided it wasn't worth it because they basically have to make entirely new molds for all the part, plus the added complexity of having to potentially redesign the auto-flip mechanism. It probably wasn't worth it for a one off key design. I can potentially seeing them using the Megazord key mold for the other Zenkaigers if plan to also do a re-release of mecha keys, that way its at least 12 keys with that body mold. On a related note, I do think it would be cool if they more Mecha keys too

I would also loved to see that idea, I was late at getting my set with the anniversary teams and new Donbrothers set, I do agree that Bandai should’ve done Inubrother kind of like the buddy droids from go busters, but Bandai must’ve had a change of mind at the last second just like you said in your words in your comment. The same would go for Kijibrother since he was very tall as a ranger and Bandai could only make normal ranger sized keys

31:58 if I had to guess it's probably because the memorial mobirates and the memorial line encourages the team wide gokai changes and when they would do team changes in the show, it would usually just say "Hurricanger, Go-onger" so they probably figured if you REALLY cared, you would seek out the 7 or so keys for them. It's slightly weird since Gai doesn't have a henshin option in the mobirates but the gokai cellular also has the new sounds so it's odd but that's my very complicated guess

make a lord drakken ranger key. i would love some keys based on the american exclusive rangers.

I knew the lack of properly indentifying sounds for Don Brothers was inevitable but I could live with that, but the pure laziness of not having the right key cuts for Shurikenger abd Goraigers is what convinced me that this set isn't worth getting

Hopefully hasbro does a ranger key set if they ever do the super megaforce morpher with dino charge, ninja steel, beast morphers, dino fury, and cosmic fury keys with the spirit rangers and titanium ranger keys included
