As an ex army officer (Pakistan Army), 1971 war veteran and instructor at the Armoured Corp school / centre Nowshera, i respect the effort of Patriot to project and honor its Armoured corp. I enjoyed this program.

Maj Arya . Congratulaions for a wonderful interview of Lt Bhanot and Lt Sangwan the latter left IIT to join AC .Wonderful . I hope this video will be an inspiration for further youngsters to qualify for AC and drive a "Beast".I think AC episode is not finished yet without narrating the heroism of Lt Col Ardeshir Tarapore PVC who won the same posthumously in 1965 .

My dad Sub. Sugan Singh Tanwar was in the Armed Corps ( 1st Horse unit) and he served the Indian army in all the three battles we fought in 62,65 and 71. Im proud to be a son of a gun !!! Salutes from the core of my heart....Jai Hind, Jai Hind ki Sena...

Veer Bhgya vasundhara ..iam an ex ALD from famous 45 cavalry i always see this programme and greatly impressed ......Maj Arya please do a story with 45 cavalry unit who liberated Bangladesh....our unit also honured War titles ,,,and our martyred Maj Narang and Lt chandravarkar been awarded with MVC and veer chakra ... This war also revealed the great difference between how the Indian and Pakistan armies treated each other as enemies. The driver of a destroyed Pakistan tank captured by Indian Army personnel was cowering and when given tea by them. He broke down and cursed his officers and blurted out their misdeeds. In contrast, Lt. Chandavarkar, the youngest officer of the 45 Cavalry, was captured by the Pakistan Army, tied to a tree and for each question that was not answered, he lost a limb or organ. The JCO in charge chopped off his ear lobes, fingernails, toes, and fingers and finally gouged out his eyes before shooting him in the chest.

Gaurav, as usual a wonderful episode. In fact I watched many of these episodes on various Regimental Centers. I observe with relevance that they are all vast areas obviously with long boundary walls. I am worried or concerned they are susceptible for terrorist attack in war or even peace. I am reminded of attack on Police Academy in Pakistan and even on our military units. I hope the boundary and inside barracks are well protected by surveillance systems, drones and sentries at each barracks. The unarmed trainees will be sleeping in unarmed state. I hope some one conveys my worry to Gaurav.

T-72s need to be phased out with more modern and well designed tanks. The first Arjun tank has fuel efficiency and armour blunders along with a rifled gun for some reason, hopefully Mk1A makes more sense tactically.
