Gary Grunt is who got me into the JBA. when I was a kid me and my family went to our first baseball game between the Cavemen and the Clowns and heading into the 9th inning the cavemen were down 3 runs with half their team being thrown out by umpire jeremy Elbertson. This being the case of course the Umpire had to step in and bat, he proceeded to strike out 3 at bat's in a row but he stormed the mound stating "IM THE UMPIRE I CHOOSE WHOS OUT AND WHOS NOT" as he ripped the clown hair off the pitcher, threw him out the game and screemed "BASES LOADED" Jeremy as well as 2 of the remaining 3 caveman went to their bases and out walked GARY GRUNT. With bases loaded down 3 runs he pulled out his signature CAVEMAN BAT. The opposing pitcher was shaking he knew what would follow. the first pitch was a ball 1 (called by Umpire Jeremy at 3rd base) 2nd pitch ball 2 it appeared they were gonna intentionally walk Gary grunt, but finally he made the mistake of throwing one down to the ground where it bounced right up into Gary Grunts sweet spot and he sent that ball flying 500 feet for a game winning Home Run! The clowns were sent back to the circus and Gary Grunt had become my hero. Truly a moment in history

for me it was Kenny Concord the legendary pitcher from the Rhode Island Raisins. I remember going to the 2009 JBA Classics match in Orlando and i got to see him pitch. He was such a great pitcher because everytime he was given a baseball he'd toss it aside and pitch the batter a single raisin instead. He struck out every batter that game, it was truly remarkable seeing it in person.

Nothing quite like Umpire Jeremy Elbertson QUITE LITERALLY going to bat for the California Circus multiple times eventually culminating in him scoring a run for the team, but then refusing to hug or dap up a player for the Circus because of course the Umpire needs to stay completely impartial

But as time went on everything just spiraled more and more out of control, just so chaotic in the best, most Jerma way possible. The commentators need praise aswell, I found it so funny how one of them kept saying Albertson and chat just ran with it, and at the end they were slurring their words abit, possibly intoxicated but still giving deadpan commentary of the madness

This has to legitimately be one of the greatest events in Twitch history. They are lucky to have you on their platform, man, full stop. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all these doors you've opened for us digital artists in general. Thank you for helping us all be taken more seriously. I hope he knows how empowering his work is to people who are trying to innovate in this field. Jeremy, if you happen to see this, I really just hope you're as proud of yourself as we all are for this. I hope these platforms are showing you the care you deserve, because you and your team are singlehandedly pushing the entire medium forward. Like, if Twitch ever stops taking care of you the way you need, I'd be really surprised if HBO/Comedy Central/MTV wasn't open to having a conversation with you at this point given your recent portfolio. I hope whenever his retirement /does/ come around, he still finds it gratifying/enjoyable to come out of hiding every so often and host something like this. Also just really hope this thing becomes a recurring event. I wonder if DDTpro or AEW would be open to a collaboration in the future with this under your belt. Jerma Stadium Stampede type of thing. Yoshihiko the blowup doll versus Jay Buffet, you get it. I also can't help but think it'd be pretty brilliant if you rented a high school football stadium to stage a fake SuperBowl one day since you'd be able to incorporate a fake halftime show and shit like that. Have Ludwig and Jerma as the two opposing team coaches, all that silly shit. Anyway please give Jerma one billion dollars and a show with Nathan Fielder or something. Love ya.
