This album is always slated but as far as I’m concerned it’s among their best , I’d put it on par with “in the city “ and “setting sons” , I’d take this banging tune over “town called malice “ all day long

My friend died last week. He had this played at his funeral while everyone stood around crying. Every time I hear it I honor his..........nah...just kidding. That didn't happen at all.

+Paul Hooson - Yes, there is a great similarity between the Jam and early Who - so much so that I know punk rockers who became great Who fans having come to them via the Jam
