Jack continued to do "live" programs through the end of the 1958-'59 season. Then, he started taping them in advance, mixing them with his filmed episodes.

A true classic. Thank you, Shokus. I still miss the one time only videos and DVDs you used to offer in flyers and emails, especially the Channel Surfing DVDs. You probably get tired of me saying this, but I can't help myself. I get a kick out of seeing TV broadcasts as they were originally shown, original commercials and all. They're hard to come by. There were several that make me kick myself for not buying when I had the opportunity. If you can't bring them back, at least show some of them here on your You Tube channel if possible.

I think Mel's respiratory condition is caused by supporting the sponsor's product, not the smog. L.S./M.F.T.😉

There were three songs presented on the show, not including the commercial. Miss MacKenzie sang Sail Along Silvery Moon. Later, Jack, Gisele, and the boys performed Sweet Georgia Brown and Tea for Two.
