Do you know “cracker” is short for “whip cracker”? And do you know that this dude who is Dutch South African has had direct benefits in his immediate family due to Apartheid in South Africa simply because his parents and grandparents had white skin? People debate whether or not white privilege exists in the US or U.K., whereas in South Africa white privilege was literally national law and it was only done away with about 30 years ago. Even still, South Africa is an extremely racist country. But Izzy is black and that’s part of the reason he won’t be held accountable for his contradictory statement. It’s also the reason why he’s allowed to call the white guy a racial slur without consequence. If the tables were turned, DDP would be crucified forever…and rightfully so. At the end of the day, it’s yet another clear example of what kind of person Adesanya is. An amazing fighter but shitty person.
