Guys, I'm sorry to say, but upd7 is going to be severely delayed, unfinished, I doubt there will even be perks....it's just how it goes man. You'd be lucky if upd7 comes out before February next year

@@Excusatores well, short answer is, I've lost all hope lol. At least the way I see it, I don't think we're going to get "faster" updates for quite a bit. But if you say they've already got a lot perks cooked up, then that's great! I hope it's similar to path of titans but more build variety maybe.

I honestly love the thought of Minmi being the raccoon of the isle lol and I love the fact that you pointed that out since I hear almost every person who makes a video that has to deal with the minmi concept art people point out that it feels as though it does to much

I feel it’s supposed to. The same people would complain it’s useless if it had one skill. Digging, swimming, and hiding are what makes it viable!

The Devs have said that content should release a lot quicker now. Not sure how much we can take their word for it but hopefully, after the new roadmap is released, we can start to see more frequent updates and of course more dinosaurs.

@@therealkingfisher. Hopefully not and I also hope that as time goes on, apex dinosaurs will become playable in official servers. I'd hate it if they could never be played there due to balance issues. At that point I don't even see the point in making them if playing as an apex is expected to be broken and unfair. I know this is off topic but just wanted to complain about it lol.

@@landswimmer283 I understand what you're saying and while I do also think it's slightly frustrating that they won't have apexes in officials, I do understand it. Officials don't have any rules, therefore zero body down rules, etc.. so playing against an apex or mix packing players could be very unbalanced, hence why they are not adding them to officials. It relieves the stress of them having to worry about balancing them, because realistically, people complain about the strongest creature in the game, being the strongest, and if they're on community servers, that's on them to deal with. I get it's annoying, but I honestly understand where they're coming from. I could not imagine trying to grow a rex for like 5 hours, getting ran down every time something sees me until I'm full grown on officials. Sounds very unfun imo.

@@ViperGamingHD57 I do agree that it’s understandable to not allow them in officials if they are unbalanced and broken compared to the rest of the games roster. However, I don’t believe that they should remain in that state upon the final version of the game. The T rex being the strongest dinosaur I don’t feel is the issue. I believe it’s an issue if it has no competition, no disbenefits or has an extremely large power gap from any other dinosaur. If it has these then definitely take it off official servers. I just hope that these unbalances would be fixed eventually. I’d hope that more dinosaurs and mechanics could be added to the game to allow the strongest dinosaurs to still struggle and have competition allowing for them to not have an overbearing presence within the game due to being strong. I feel that the apexes should not remain easy to pick and completely broken dinosaurs. I’d just prefer a well optimised and strong T rex to a completely overpowered one that is considered to ruin official servers.

I think an achievment system would be cool and motivating. For example you get an achievment for growing a Dino to adulthood

7:08 these pictures look so amazing, i would love to see them ingame, it would make the game seem so much more alive

I really like the addition of Minme because the isle is a dinosaur ecosystem sim and having a small generalist ankylosaur is awesome and to me makes sense

based on the concept art it seems that the Dilo's hallucinations are gonna be like the visuals when your in an unknown area in Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. I believe to help the player would be able to hear the seemingly shockingly nearby roars of major predators of whatever they are playing along with approaching footsteps in order to knock them off there senses as due to the nature of the game there is no way to tell whether or not that Cerato roar was a hallucination or an actual Cerato without checking.

Bary should be the second fastest aquatic in my opinion, to avoid suchos and Spinos in/out of water but can still fall prey to Deinos (they should always rain supreme with speed underwater) But I can understand your hype for it tho, Bary was my go to class in Legacy as well, I can't wait for its return, that and Megelania, Herrera, Dilo and possibly Quetz depending on how fun they make it.

Deino will always be the king of the water, but Bary should be like the Knight. Not as fast, but with more stam for sure

Sucho and bary most likely wont meet often. Bary needs big and deep waters while sucho is a wadder that prefers shallower waters like a pond

With UE5 its already very optimized, fps is above 80 and ping is under 80. If fps is low then its a computer issue

I remember commenting about how herbivore grazing would make the game more interesting, how in real life most herbivores unless specialized spend most of the time grazing grasses. I was called so many names for even suggesting that lmao. But I think having grazing reworked would be a great step in making herbivore gameplay more engaging. Have certain areas's grasses be more filling and nutrient rich and not having grazing capped at 20%, but 75% or the like. Richness of the area can decrease overtime as more herbivores eat it up, making it necessary for the animals to move to another zone and causing a realistic migration mechanic naturally. Not having any animals eating there could restore the richness of the grass overtime too. Maybe have some zones be more fertile than others for grazing grass, so the swamp, beach and hills are less fertile and therefore less nutrition is gained for herbivores, but they can do in a pinch. Small herbivores need less nutrition and less food than big ones anyway, so they could still remain in those areas. It could even influence the way the other plants work too, since high fertility zones could grow other nutrient-rich foods like melons or pumpkins, but less fertility or overeating would decrease the chance of these spamming. Water could even affect it, making waterholes or riverbanks more fertile and therefore incredible spots for food, but also dangerous (risk-reward) I just think going from point A to B to A again as an herbivore is not rivetting gameplay and depending on the species (stego) not even that much of a danger/challenge, just annoying and a chore.

High quality video for your first great job

This game has so much potential and it makes me incredibly nervous and excited for update 7. I’m mainly worried that we’ll either only get gateway and nothing else (which would still be amazing), or we’ll have to wait for an entire year for update 7, and I’m sorry, but I don’t think I care enough about this game to wait a year for one update.

I get excited for those dinos until I remeber I'll probably have kids by the time they release

I believe dilo's hallucination will spawn fog around you and make an ai dilo run straight at you from out of the fog if iirc.

Minme I think it would be kinda like a hippopotamus..let me explain so in the concept it shows that minme doese not float, and it can dig up roots in the water so that is hinting that minme will live a semi aquatic life style but not making its homes or burrows or nest by rivers or small ponds. So minme is probably gonna be one of those kind of playable dinosaurs for new players on the isle evirma, this is my ideal on minme.

Much like how Troodons fight back once pinned by Omniraptors I think some semi-aquatics like Beipi, and Bary should be able to basically maul the Deinosuchus if they get launched, another response to launching would be dodging. For example some playables like Austroraptor would automatically move out of a launch. This would be like an automatic Dryo dodge and can only be used a limited amount of times.

Dilo dog squad lets GO! Also Mega and all the horned herbs are my favorite bois hopefully will all come out soon.

i play this game way too much so i dont get lost anymore, but it always cracks me up when ppl talk about launching from invisible cliffs like they are all over. its pretty much just the gully. i grow dinos there all the time cuz its littered with corpses from ppl falling in. found a pile of dead galis last week that all fell in. made me lol

Perks and all are cool, but the thing that's most anticipated to me (and I hope that's not been forgotten, even if I realise it's not something we'll see anytime soon...) are strains. They're like 80% of the reason I bought the Isle back then, just this aspect of unbelievable, alien terror in a dinosaur game like the Isle is so enticing. I also fell completely in love with the new Hyper-Rex concept art that was released a while ago. Gonna need to continue smoking that copium for a few years though until we see those in game I figure.

id say my most anticipated at this point are: giga: will have an insanley fun playstyle that id imagine will make it a land deino, where you have to be extremely patient in order to win camara: im interested to see how the sauropods will work in this game spino: my favourite interpretation of my favourite dinosaur, of course im excited to see my boy quetz: hoping to be a more complete flier than ptera, but im hoping it will feature a lot more ground gameplay, as quetz would have preffered to hunt on the ground in real likfe allosaurus: since its confirmed to be coming soonish, im excited to see our first proper mid teir, and this means, that since maia is coming before rex and trike, that it and allo might be the only real species that will be able to interact with rex and trike, other than being one shot

Honestly 6.5 was amazing and some of my personal most anticipated Dinosaurs are Pachyrhinosaurus (Personal Bias because it's my favorite Dinosaur from all time) Albertosaurus (Another example of my personal Bias) Suchomimus, and possibly Baryonyx

i personally really want to try minmi, acrocanthosaurus, deinocheirus and...surprisingly for some, magyarosaurus, im big sauropod fan even if it is weird shape for a sauropod im still gonna try it and so far beipiaosaurus is my most favourite in the game its just unbelievably fun

so many of these are on my list too. notice how several are semi aquatics and have some interesting mechanic or abilities that allow for specialization in gameplay. those that dont (cheirus and bary) occupy niches that arent being exploited, with cheirus being the largest omnivore by far and a bottom walking giant. bary also seeming to have more of a duality type playstyle of land and water.

Just ready for the Ankylosaur. It better not be fucking stupidly ass for being a defensive creature like what happened with PotT in the new update
