I really love Seychelles

Seychelles is such a beautiful place; definitely on my Bucket List now! The documentary is quite nice, but I would have preferred to see longer shots with slower panning in order to really take in the scene.

You can go for hikes or trails on La Digue if you can't cycle but get yourself a reliable tour guide, a map, sun cream and wear a cap/hat. You will need a few hours though and be quite fit because the terrain is rocky

It's quiet good, there are public hospitals but also a lot of private clinics where you can get very good medical care.

Im just saying for that hassle and time and money . I would suggest beaches in greece, caribbean , spain, philipines, south america, south pacific , Africa etc places you can go with out being held for 3 hours because you not carrying 150 dollars per day . There are places that will let you in with a stamp in and out or even a visa on arrival If you must visit Seychelles be prepared they may turn you away . You must have everything perfectly planned . All documentation and $150 us dollars perday . They made me go to an atm to show how much money i had . They called the hotel I reserved . The immigration said i could only stay 2 days . They re arrange my return flight . I had to pay an extra $170 . It took a few hours they searched everything and asked 1,000 questions.

Yes they do have some rather strict immigration rules there. I have just been on holiday on Mahé with a group of friends. Prior to our visit we were all informed that we must have a return ticket, a hotel reservation and the amount of 150 dollars per day. However , on arrival we were not asked to show any amount of money but they did check everything else. I know it's part of their job but what they did to you is simply unacceptable. Personally I was not quite fond of their attitude either. Most of the immigration officers had no manners and they didn't even bother to say "hello" or "good morning" to any of us. The hotel was neither up to European standards even though it cost a considerable amount of money. Simple requests were often ignored by the staff and everything seemed so unprofessional. So all in all, Seychelles IS a beautiful place but the downside is rude, lazy and not very professional locals.
